    摘要: An ink jet recording head comprises an ink tank, a nozzle for discharging ink, a liquid chamber for retaining a specific amount of ink supplied from the ink tank through a filter, while supplying ink to the nozzle, and a covering member to be bonded to the liquid chamber, and on the circumference of the liquid chamber, a groove is formed to enable bonding agent to be coated therefor, and on the circumference of the covering member, an extrusion is formed to be fitted into the groove. For this ink jet recording head, gas releasing means is provided for releasing gas remaining in the bonding agent to the outside of the groove when the covering member is bonded to the liquid chamber by fitting the extrusion into the groove after the bonding agent is coated in the groove. With the structure thus arranged, it is possible to prevent leakage form occurring between liquid chambers, because voids are not formed by gas remaining in the bonding agent, which may connect liquid chambers adjacent to each other, and each of the liquid chambers is airtightly closed in the ink jet recording head for a better performance thereof.

    摘要: An ink jet print head is provided which includes: a print element substrate; a plate accommodating the print element substrate by enclosing a side peripheral portion of the print element substrate; an electric wiring tape member disposed on the plate and having electric wiring portions for the print element substrate; a first sealant filling a space surrounding the print element substrate enclosed by the plate; and a second sealant covering a part of the electric wiring portions. In this construction, stress concentrations in the electric connections are alleviated even if the electric wiring tape used to support the second sealant has a reduced stiffness due to a reduced thickness of the tape. For this purpose, the plate H1401′ is provided with protrusions H1402 as support members that support the second sealant H1308 through the extension portions H1305 of the electric wiring tape.

    摘要: A liquid discharging method comprises the step of displacing the free end of the movable member following the creation of air bubble in the air bubble generating area. For this method, the fulcrum of the movable member is positioned on the side different from liquid discharging side with respect to the displacement area for the free end of the movable member to be displaceable, and at the same time, the free end thereof is arranged to face the effective bubbling area positioned on the downstream side of the central portion of the length of the effective bubbling area that forms the bubble generating area in the direction of the movable member from the fulcrum to the free end thereof, and a part of the effective bubbling area positioned to face the free end of the movable member on the downstream side of the effective bubbling area is arranged to face the displacement area directly. Thus, the initiation of the displacement of the free end of the movable member is effectuated quickly and reliably, and the pressure exerted by the air bubble creation is led to the discharge port side and the fulcrum side of the movable member sufficiently at the time of bubbling, and the development of air bubble that follows is directed to the discharge port side more reliably and efficiently.
