    摘要: A ghost elimination device equipped in a television receiver extracts a reference signal from the television signal, the reference signal being inserted in the television signal in a certain sequence or at random with the intention of ghost elimination, implements the sequence decoding process and noise elimination process for the reference signal, and controls the characteristics of the ghost eliminating transversal filter which suppresses the transmission distortion. The device includes a sequence decoding circuit for decoding the transmission sequence of the reference signal, a transversal filter for suppressing the distortion of transmission path disposed in a rear stage of sequence decoding circuit, and a controller which introduces the reference signal provided by the filter to control the characteristics of the filter or apply the output of the sequence decoding circuit to the transversal filter through a noise elimination filter. The transversal filter has a tapped delay line formed of registers with an initialization terminal and an input terminal for controlling the initialization terminal.

    摘要: A transmission distortion elimination device for eliminating from a transmitted TV signal, for example, signal distortion such as ghost under fuzzy inferenced control based on an iterative correction method with the capabilities of fast control settling, and a flexible and stable distortion removal operation. The device comprises a filter section for suppressing such transmission distortion as ghost, a controller for controlling the tap coefficients of the filter section, and a fuzzy inference section for receiving distortion information obtained by the controller. The fuzzy inference section iteratively infers and evaluates a correction value of tap coefficients of the filter section. The tap coefficient correction value is determined through fuzzy inference, and the control method for counteracting disturbance coefficients to the control system is described in rules of IF-THEN form based on fuzzy levels, which facilitates the organization of the control algorithm. By the capability of deriving from these rules the correction value which is made continuously variable, the fast control settling, and the stable and flexible transmission distortion elimination operation can be accomplished.

Confindential components/information, e.g., the encrypting/decrypting algorithm and/or keys, and components directly handling such information are arranged within a tamper-/access-resistant unit (preferably as a sealed integrated circuit package) in the vehicle-mounted device. Since an encryptor and a decryptor directly read the encrypting/decrypting key without such key being detectable outside of the sealed unit, it is not necessary for components outside the sealed unit to receive and/or handle the aforesaid encrypting/decrypting key or their contents. Accordingly such key remains hidden (i.e., inaccessable) within the sealed unit. The arrangement can further include an authentication protocol such as a 3-way authentication protocol, a 2-way.times.2 authentication protocol and a Fiat-Shimir authentication protocol.

In the digital convergence correcting apparatus, a digital memory stores digital correction data corresponding to correction values of convergence adjustments points indicative of a plurality of points on the display screens divided in the horizontal and vertical directions. A multiplexer reads out predetermined digital correction data from the digital memory and time sharingly multiplexes. At least one digital/analog converter receives the time sharingly multiplexed data from the multiplexer and generates an analog signal. Sample and hold circuits extract a predetermined correction signal from the analog output of the digital/analog converter and sample and hold them. The convergence correcting apparatus is driven in accordance with the respective correction signals held by the sample and hold circuits.

The heat generated by the control device is dissipated to the fin and the fuel passing through the passage and heat insulating material is interposed between the fin and the intake tube. The fuel passage extending through the fin may carry fuel to or from the fuel pressure controller and the fuel tank or may carry fuel from the fuel pressure controller to the fuel injection valve.

    摘要: There is provided a detection circuit for TV receiver which includes a frame comb filter and a field comb filter and which generates a luminance signal or a chrominance signal by effecting addition or subtraction upon video signals of two frames adjoining each other included in the received TV signal. This detection circuit includes a synchronization separation circuit, an APC circuit, a frequency division circuit connected to the APC circuit, and a comparator circuit connected to the frequency division circuit. The frequency of the chrominance subcarrier signal is demultiplied by the frequency division circuit. The phase of the chrominance subcarrier signal thus frequency-divided is compared with the phase of the synchronizing signal separated by the synchronizing separation circuit. It is thus judged whether the received TV signal is a standard TV signal or a nonstandard TV signal.
