The damper includes a wall surface which forms an air flow passage, a stationary portion which extends from the wall surface to the center of a flow passage, and a rotating portion rotatably disposed in the flow passage, having one end in contact with a portion of the stationary portion at a downstream side of an air flow through the flow passage. A curved wall portion as a convex curved surface protruding to the center of the flow passage is formed on a position of the wall surface on which the air flow passing between the one end and the stationary portion impinges.

    摘要: A vehicle air-conditioning system has an evaporator for receiving air discharged into a casing of the system and changing the air to a cold air flow that can flow rearward, and a heater for selectively receiving at least a portion of the cold air flow and heating such portion to a warm air flow. The system includes partition means for directing the warm air flow to permit mixing of the warm air flow and the remaining cold air flow that bypasses the heater. The partition means includes a top end portion and guide means for downwardly directing the cold, warm, or the mixed cold and warm air which has flowed beyond the top end portion for blowing-out such air out of the system. The top end portion defines a surface having a streamlined or curved configuration along which the cold, warm, or mixed cold and warm air can flow.

    摘要: Within an upper plenum of a nuclear reactor, a portion of a heated coolant flows radially outward from a central portion of a core barrel (30) towards outlet nozzles (12) in a region of an upper core plate (21) extending outside of an outer periphery of the core along an inner wall of a core barrel (30). Portions of the coolant flows beneath the outlet nozzles (12). Thus, streams of heated coolant flowing in opposite directions may collide with each other. After collision, the flow directions of the heated coolant are changed to flow upward. Due to the collision, the coolant flow behavior becomes complicated and unstable, making it difficult to measure the temperature of the heated coolant with an outlet pipe (42) connected to the outlet nozzle (12). Within an upper plenum (40) defined above a fuel region through which a coolant flows and which is hydraulically communicated with a plurality of outlet nozzles (12) mounted on a side wall of a nuclear reactor vessel (10), short flow stabilizing members (1) each being lower than the outlet nozzle (12) are disposed in the vicinity of a core barrel (30) in an region outside of the fuel region.
