摘要: A liquid crystal device (LCD) and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The LCD includes a display panel, a data driven circuit configured for providing data voltages to the data lines, and a power reducing module. The display panel includes data lines, scanning lines intersecting with the data lines, and a matrix of pixels arranged in intersections of rows and columns The power reducing module is configured for storing a most-reload-image, comparing the data of the most-reload-image and the data of an input image, determining if the input image is a reload image increasing a power consumption of the data driven circuit, and changing a polarity inversion method of a timing controller. By changing the polarity inversion method of the timing controller basing on the input images, the display performance is guaranteed and the power consumption of the data driven circuit is reduced at the same time.

摘要: The invention discloses a flexible printed circuit board, a chip on film and a manufacturing method. The flexible printed circuit board used for hot pressing includes an insulating substrate with long edges; the insulating substrate is provided with a plurality of pins used for hot pressing; the pins of the flexible printed circuit board used for hot pressing are along the long edge of the insulating substrate; the spacing between two adjacent pins is gradually reduced from both ends to the middle. In the invention, after hot lamination, the spacing between the pins can almost keep constant and is equivalent to the expansion result of the LCD panel; thus, better electrical connection of the pins and the leads of the LCD panel can be ensured, and electrical contact is more reliable.

摘要: The present invention relates to a LCD module and a method thereof. The LCD module includes a gate driver, a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of pixel units, a temperature sensor for generating a temperature sensing signal based on a temperature of the liquid crystal display panel, and a voltage regulator for adjusting scan voltage according to the temperature sensing signal. The gate driver outputs a scan signal with the adjusted scan voltage to the plurality of pixel units. The LCD module can adjust the scan voltage based on a variety of the temperature of the LCD panel to further change current charging the pixel units, shortening a response time period of the LCD module.

摘要: The present invention discloses a code checking method for a memory of a printed circuit board, which is to firstly add a check code to a data end of codes, after the codes is written in a memory, then use a timing controller to calculate a checksum of the data of the part of the primary codes and further compare the calculated checksum with the check code, and then output to a probe via a testing pin to display the result of comparison, so as to accomplish an object of checking if the written codes are correct. The present invention enhances work efficiency of checking the codes written in the memory.

摘要: The present invention discloses a tape substrate for chip on film structure of a liquid crystal panel. The tape substrate is provided with plural package units of chip on film structures arranged along its longitudinal direction, and the package unit has a driver chip, input leads and output leads. The longitudinal direction of the driver chip is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tape substrate, and the input leads and the output leads are located at the two opposite sides of the driver chip. Each package unit is set up with a short side and a long side, and the input leads are formed at the short side, while the output leads are formed at the long side. In the package units adjacent to each other, the short side of one package unit joins the long side of a next package unit. This invention further discloses a liquid crystal panel having the tape substrate.

摘要: A method and a circuit for improving charging of a liquid crystal panel, the circuit comprises at least one temperature compensated overdrive voltage regulating unit, each of the driving voltage regulating units includes a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of a liquid crystal panel and outputting a digital value representing the temperature; a reference voltage generator for obtaining a corresponding reference voltage according to the digital value of the temperature; and a voltage regulator for regulating a level of a high output voltage of a gate of the TFT-LCD panel according to the reference voltage. The present disclosure can reduce the cost of a liquid crystal panel and enhance its performance.

摘要: A chip on film (COF) is disclosed in the present disclosure, which comprises an adhesive base layer, a driving integrated circuit (IC), an adhesive layer and a copper layer. The driving IC is embedded on a surface of the adhesive base layer; the adhesive layer is located under the adhesive base layer; the copper layer is located under the adhesive layer. The adhesive base layer is formed with a heat and pressure spreading structure. A heat and pressure spreading structure is disposed on the adhesive base layer of the COF so that deformation or unevenness of the glass substrate in the bonded area can be avoided when the COF is thermally pressed to the glass substrate of the LCD. These guarantees the consistency between the bonded area and the unbounded area, the bonded area and the unbounded area of the glass substrate will have the same transmissivity and luminance.
