摘要： A field emission lamp, capable of preventing the degradation and the non-uniformly distribution of the light intensity of the emitted light, even after long-term usage of the field emission lamp, is disclosed. The anode of the disclosed field emission lamp is not required to be transparent. The disclosed field emission lamp comprises: a transparent shell; an anode unit set inside the transparent shell; a cathode unit set between the anode unit and the transparent shell; and a phosphor layer set above the anode unit. The cathode unit is apart from the phosphor layer with a certain distance. The phosphor layer and the anode unit are both surrounded by the cathode unit.

The plurality of first field emission units and the plurality of second field emission units are located on the substrate. Besides, the first phosphor layer of the plurality of first field emission units has a first color temperature. The second phosphor layer of the plurality of second field emission units has a second color temperature, wherein the first color temperature is higher than the second color temperature. Moreover, the driving control unit drives and controls the plurality of first field emission units and the plurality of second field emission units based on a predetermined driving mode, for modulating the light emission mode of the field emission lamp and the color temperature of the mixed light emitted from the field emission lamp.

The device with electron beam excitation comprises: an electron emissive layer for providing an electron beam; and a fluorescent layer comprising a fluorescent powder, wherein the fluorescent powder comprises at least four elements of Zn, S, Se and O. The fluorescent layer can be excited by an electron beam and then emit white light. Accordingly, the present invention can provide a white light source with high color rendering index.

The FED disclosed herein includes: a upper substrate, an anode layer, a phosphor layer, a lower substrate, at least one cathode, at least one electron emitter, and an partition plate set located between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The partition plate set includes at least one nonmetal dielectric plate having plural holes, at least one insulation layer, and at least one gate. The FED of the present invention can simplify the process and reduce the damage caused by the manufacturing process, effectively increase the number of the electrons bombarding the phosphor layer, and increase the brightness and contrast ratio of the pixels.

Accordingly, the present invention can enhance light utilization efficiency of a field emission display.

摘要： A field emission device (FED) includes a top substrate having an anode electrode and a phosphor layer, a lower substrate, at least one cathode electrode having an opening-pattern with at least one opening, an insulating layer located on the cathode electrode, a gate layer located on the insulating layer, and an electron emitter located in the opening of the cathode electrode. The electron emitter is adjacent to the cathode electrode and is electrically connected therewith. The cathode electrode having the opening-pattern is located on a bottom panel. Through the structure illustrated above, uniformity of emitting electron density can be improved and brightness and contrast of color for the FED can be enhanced.
