    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the production of polyisocyanate compositions containing urethane groups and having an isocyanate content of about 0.5 to 45% by weight by the reaction of(a) an organic polyisocyanate or mixtures thereof having an isocyanate content of about 30 to 50% by weight with(b) organic polyhydroxyl compounds using an equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups to hydroxyl groups of at least 1.8:1, characterized in that the polyhydroxyl compounds (b) are based on(b1) polyhydroxypolyacrylates having an average molecular weight, determined by vapor pressure osmometry, of 232 to about 100,000 which optionally contain urethane or ester groups in side chains, and a statistical average of at least one alcoholic hydroxyl group per molecule(b2) optionally in admixture with up to about 250% by weight, based on (b1), of other polyhydroxyl compounds in the molecular weight range of 62 to about 12,000.The invention also relates to the polyisocyanate compositions obtainable by this process and their use as components for the production of polyurethanes or polyurethane ureas.

    摘要: Cationic sizing agents for paper, obtainable by a process in which a water-soluble cationic terpolymer compound, built up in a chemically uniform manner, of (a) 7 to 40% by weight of N,N-dimethylaminoethyl acrylate and/or methacrylate, (b) 40 to 80% by weight of styrene and (c) 4 to 50% by weight of acrylonitrile, the sum of components (a) to (c) always being 100% by weight and at least 10% of the dimethylamino groups of the terpolymer being quaternized with monoepoxides, with the exception of epihalogenohydrins, and the remainder being protonated, is dissolved in an aqueous medium and, in the presence of 10 to 70% by weight--based on the following monomer mixture--of this emulsifier, (d) 5 to 95% by weight of acrylonitrile, meth-acrylonitrile or styrene or mixtures thereof and (e) 5 to 95% by weight of acrylic acid ester and/or methacrylic acid ester with 1 to 12 C atoms in the alcohol radical--the sum of components (d) and (e) always being 100% by weight--are emulsified and the emulsion thus obtained is subjected to emulsion polymerization, initiated by free radicals, at temperatures of 20.degree. to 150.degree. C.

    摘要: New, highly effective cationic sizing agents for paper have been provided. They can be obtained by a method in which a water-soluble cationic chemically pure terpolymer compound consisting of(a) 7-40% by weight of N,N-dimethylaminoethyl acrylate and/or methacrylate,(b) 40-80% by weight of styrene and(c) 4-40% by weight of acrylonitrileis dissolved in an aqueous medium, the sum of the components (a) to (c) always being 100% by weight and at least 10% of the N,N-dimethylamino groups of the terpolymer being quaternized and the remainder being protonated, and, in the presence of 10 to 70% by weight, relative to the monomer mixture below, of this emulsifier,(d) 0 to 90% by weight of acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonitrile,(e) 5 to 95% by weight of styrene and(f) 5 to 95% by weight of acrylates and/or methacrylates having 1 to 12 C atoms in the alcohol radical,the sum of the components (d) to (f) always being 100% by weight, are emulsified, and the emulsion thus obtained is subjected to free radical-initiated emulsion polymerization at temperatures from 20.degree. to 150.degree. C.
