The present invention provides an input method, a smart TV and a smart interaction system. The input method comprises: displaying a virtual keyboard having a key layout corresponding to that of a physical keyboard used for inputting to a smart TV; obtaining from the physical keyboard a first signal that is generated in response to an operator selecting a physical key on the physical keyboard and indicates information on position of the operator on the physical keyboard; and displaying on the virtual keyboard the position of the operator based on the first signal. The physical keyboard is consistent with the virtual keyboard displayed on the smart TV. Thus, each physical key on the physical keyboard can be found in the virtual keyboard. When a physical key on the physical keyboard is selected or triggered, the input process can be viewed visually on the smart TV. In this way, the input speed can be increased and the user experience can be improved.

A method for automatically switching scene mode and a portable terminal are disclosed, the method comprises steps of setting life cycle and subsequent scene mode for each scene mode; judging whether the life cycle of current scene mode has ended; and switching the current scene mode to a subsequent scene mode if it is judged that the life cycle of the current scene mode has ended. With the present invention, a user can define desired scene modes at different moments during a day depending on his daily arrangement, and thus this brings great convenience to the user.

The disclosed method calculates video time density functions based on inter-frame mutual information or other similarity measures. The method includes acquiring a video sequence from memory, computing mutual information or other similarity measures between two consecutive frames of the video sequence, and constructing a video temporal density function based on the mutual information or similarity measures. The method enables fast navigation of the video sequence by performing a temporal quantization of the video time density function to determine a set of quanta. The video sequence can be navigated using the nearest neighbor video frames to the set of quanta. The method enables thumbnail extraction of a video sequence using statistical modeling by performing a temporal quantization of the video time density function to segment video sequence in time domain and using mixture (such as Gaussian mixture and ICA mixture) vector quantization to find the sample frames for each temporal segment.

The present invention discloses a tunable optical device. The tunable optical device includes a tuning cavity having a tuning means provided for alternately bonding to at least two different tunable optical cells each comprising a tuning membrane wherein the tuning cavity disposed near the tuning membrane for moving the tuning membrane for tuning one of the at least two tunable optical cells bonded thereon. In a preferred embodiment, the tuning cavity further includes a first electrode disposed on the tuning membrane and a second electrode disposed on a substrate supporting the tuning cavity for applying a voltage to move the tuning membrane. In a preferred embodiment, the optical device further includes an optical device control circuit connected to the tuning means for controlling and moving the tuning membrane. In a preferred embodiment, the tuning cavity further includes through hole along an optical path for an optical transmission passing through the tunable membrane for providing an interface-free and ripple-free optical path for the optical transmission. In a preferred embodiment, the tunable optical cells constitute an optical filter for bonding to the tuning cavity and tunable by moving the tunable membrane. The present application discloses methods for treating an IL-6-mediated disorder such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), systemic JIA (sJIA), polyarticular course JIA (pcJIA), systemic sclerosis, or giant cell arteritis (GCA), with subcutaneously administered antibody that binds interleukin-6 receptor (anti-IL-6R antibody). In particular, it relates to identification of a fixed dose of anti-IL-6R antibody, e.g. tocilizumab, which is safe and effective for subcutaneous administration in patients with IL-6-mediated disorders. In addition, formulations and devices useful for subcutaneous administration of an anti-IL-6R antibody are disclosed.
