摘要: An information processing apparatus for call control and management stores IP addresses of first and second IP telephones and first and second information processing devices associated with the respective IP telephones. When the information processing apparatus receives from the first IP telephone a message requesting to establish a session with the second IP telephone, the information processing apparatus sends, to the second IP telephone using the IP address of the second IP telephone, a message requesting to establish a session with the first IP telephone, to thereby establish a session between the first and second IP telephones. When a session is established between the first and second IP telephones, the information processing apparatus sends the IP address of the second information processing device to the first information processing device using the IP address of the first information processing device and sends the IP address of the first information processing device to the second information processing device using the IP address of the second information processing device.

摘要: A bit rate converter capable of avoiding slip of data in a memory for use in bit rate adjustment is disclosed. A phase comparator compares a write address and a read address of the memory to produce a phase difference. The write address is ahead of the read address in the memory. A stuffing rate controller selects one of a plurality of preset fixed stuffing rates depending on the phase difference. A stuff pulse inserter inserts a stuff pulse into readout data from the memory at the selected stuffing rate. When normally operating, a normal fixed stuffing rate is selected. When the phase difference is small than a lowest threshold value, a higher fixed stuffing rate is selected. When the phase difference is greater than a highest threshold value, a lower fixed stuffing rate is selected.

摘要: There is provided an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in which a plurality of piezoelectric transducers are arranged in a predetermined direction so as to transmit and receive ultrasonic waves to obtain a tomographic image on the inside of the subject. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus adopts such a scheme that a sector scan is electronically performed, and is capable of preventing deterioration of an image by reducing an influence of reflection of the ultrasonic waves from the ribs, and forming a good image improved in resolution. An intersection of scan lines at at least receiving end is set up between rib-to-rib which are located at the position deeper than the body surface of the subject. An aperture for transmitting and receiving of ultrasonic waves along the scan line of the central part of the sector configuration is wider than that along the scan line of the edge portion of the sector configuration.
