The present invention also provides a method of synthesizing a hydrogel comprising poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which comprises (a) synthesizing methacrylated hyaluronic acid; and (b) copolymerizing methacrylated hyaluronic acid with N-isopropylacrylamide.
