    摘要: A boundary intra coding flag is obtained according to a current macroblock type. When the boundary intra coding flag indicates that the current macroblock is coded in an intra prediction mode using boundary intra coding, boundary coding information is obtained, and a boundary in the current macroblock is induced based on the boundary coding information. Therefore, the regions divided by the boundary can be coded in the intra prediction mode. The accuracy of a predicted pixel value can be improved by performing the intra prediction for regions divided by the boundary. Accordingly, the residual data transmitted to a decoder can be reduced.

    摘要: The virtual view image synthesis method according to the present invention comprises: generating an intermediate picture from a first viewpoint and an intermediate picture from a second viewpoint by swapping a reference picture from a first viewpoint and a reference picture from a second viewpoint; determining whether there is a hole in said intermediate picture from a first viewpoint; if there is a hole in said intermediate picture from a first viewpoint, obtaining the pixel value of said intermediate picture from a second viewpoint based on the location of said hole; and allocating the pixel value of said intermediate picture from a second viewpoint to said hole. A virtual picture is synthesized using a reference picture, thereby reducing the quantity of information due to encoding a virtual viewpoint picture.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for processing a video signal using inter-viewpoint prediction are disclosed. The video signal processing method includes acquiring a type of a current block, acquiring a depth inter-view prediction flag according to the current block type, acquiring color information of a reference block corresponding to the current block when the current block is encoded using depth inter-view prediction according to the depth inter-view prediction flag, and predicting color information of the current block using the color information of the reference block. The video signal processing method performs inter-viewpoint prediction using depth information, such that a motion vector of a macroblock can be induced from a decoder using such depth information. Therefore, a motion vector of the macroblock is not separately coded. In addition, the video signal processing method uses a flag that indicates whether to perform inter-viewpoint prediction using depth information.

    摘要: In a method for processing video signals acquired from multiple cameras, the present invention provides a method for processing video signals including receiving a multiview video coded bit stream including color pictures and depth pictures, wherein the depth picture indicates a group of digitalized information on a distance between a base camera and an object; acquiring data type identification information from the multiview video coded bit stream, wherein the data type identification information indicates whether or not depth-coded data are included in the multiview video coded bit stream; acquiring reference information between views of the depth picture based upon the data type identification information, wherein the reference information between views of the depth picture includes a number of depth-view reference pictures, and a view identification number of the depth-view reference picture; acquiring an estimation value of the depth picture by using the reference information between views of the depth picture; recovering the depth picture by using the estimation value of the depth picture; and acquiring a 3-dimensional image by using the recovered depth picture.
