    摘要: An electronic apparatus is adapted to be used with a portable storage medium installed therein. The apparatus includes a mounting portion in which a unit for driving a portable storage medium is mounted. The mounting portion is constituted by a metal plate. When a storage medium is installed, an opening of the metal plate into which said storage medium is inserted is electrically connected between an upper portion and a lower portion thereof, so that the metal plate does not resonate with radio waves generated outside of the apparatus.

    摘要: An SG pattern is provided at the circumference of the outermost layer of a printed circuit board and the SG pattern is connected to a frame ground of a case by grounding plates so that the space between connection points is smaller than a distance determined by a signal wavelength. The grounding plates are disposed at three sides other than the side at which a connector mounting plate is disposed to hold the printed circuit board therebetween by leaf spring-like contacts. The mounting plate is connected to the SG pattern to be electrically connected to the grounding plate.

    摘要: A display panel module such as a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel module in an electronic apparatus is designed to receive a driving signal of a predetermined frequency. An electrically conductive frame or bezel of the display panel module tends to suffer from the transmission of electromagnetic waves which are related to the wavelength of the driving signal. An electrically conductive member is located behind the display panel and electrically connected to the electrically conductive frame. The electrically conductive member serves to diverge the electromagnetic waves out of the electrically conductive frame. This divergence of the electromagnetic waves serves to suppress the electromagnetic radiation out of the electrically conductive frame.

    摘要: It is intended to provide a novel NAD+-independent myo-inositol 2-dehydrogenase which converts myo-inositol into scyllo-inosose in the absence of NAD+; a novel enzyme scyllo-inositol dehydrogenase which stereospecifically reduces scyllo-inosose into scyllo-inositol in the presence of NADH or NADPH; and a novel microorganism which belongs to the genus Acetobacter or Burkholderia and can convert myo-inositol into scyllo-inositol. By using these enzymes or the microorganism, scyllo-inositol is produced. Furthermore, scyllo-inositol is purified by adding boric acid and a metal salt to a liquid mixture containing scyllo-inositol and a neutral saccharide other than scyllo-inositol to form a scyllo-inositol/boric acid complex, separating the complex from the liquid mixture, dissolving the thus separated complex in an acid to give an acidic solution or an acidic suspension and then purifying scyllo-inositol from the acidic solution or the acidic suspension.

    摘要: An apparatus for producing Ti by Ca reduction by the invention includes a reaction tank retaining a molten salt in which a molten salt CaCl2 is contained and Ca is dissolved, an electrolytic cell retaining a molten salt containing CaCl2, and a continuum body which is movably constructed while part of the continuum body is immersed in the molten salt either within the reaction tank or electrolytic cell. In the inventive method for producing Ti by Ca reduction, the molten salt in the electrolytic cell is electrolyzed to generate Ca on the cathode side which is transported to the reaction tank while deposited on and adheres to the continuum body, and TiCl4 is supplied to the reaction tank to generate Ti. The invention enables a feed rate of TiC14 as a raw material to be enhanced, and continuous production to be performed, while allowing Ca consumed in the TiCl4 reduction reaction to be replenished by electrolysis of CaCl2, which proves to have an economical advantage, thus becoming means for efficiently and economically producing high-purity metallic Ti to widely be applied.

    摘要: A drive circuit for a flat display apparatus which may include organic EL devices is disclosed wherein the light emission characteristic can be set variously and the color adjustment can be performed with a high degree of accuracy with a simple and easy configuration. A plurality of candidate voltages from voltage dividing circuits are selected in response to original reference voltage setting data to produce original reference voltages, and reference voltages for digital to analog conversion are produced from the original reference voltages. For the original reference voltages at the opposite ends of the voltage dividing circuits, the voltages of production references are varied with rough adjustment data, and the other original reference voltages are produced with reference to the original reference voltages at the opposite ends by the voltage dividing circuits connected in series.
