The surface protection film has a laminated structure formed at least of an adhesive layer and a back layer, wherein the adhesive layer is formed mainly of a styrene-based elastomer while the back layer is formed mainly of a propylene-based resin containing 0.5 wt % to 10 wt % of a fluorine-containing compound having a polyfluorohydrocarbon group and a polyoxy ethylene group.

The surface protection film has a three-layered composite structure including an adhesive layer, an interlayer, and a back layer, wherein the adhesive layer is formed of 35 to 90 wt % of a linear low density polyethylene, 5 to 50 wt % of a styrene-based elastomer, and 15 wt % or less of a tackifier, the interlayer formed mainly of a propylene-based resin, and the back layer formed mainly of the same propylene-based resin as that constituting the interlayer and/or a different propylene-based resin therefrom, and also wherein the back layer has a surface roughness of 3 μm or more in terms of ten-point average roughness (Rz).
