摘要： A sheet-member separation device includes a first air blower, an attractor, a conveyor, a second air blower, and an adjuster. The first air blower blows air onto a front side of a stack of sheet members in a sheet-member conveyance direction. The attractor attracts an uppermost sheet member floated from the stack of sheet members by the air blown from the first air blower. The conveyor conveys, in the sheet-member conveyance direction, the sheet member attracted by the attractor. The second air blower blows air toward a lateral side of the sheet member. The adjuster moves the second air blower and the attractor together to adjust positions of the second air blower and the attractor in the sheet-member conveyance direction.

摘要： A terminal allows immediate receipt of notification, while holding down the load on a management control device. The terminal has a timer value storage for storing a timer value, a counter for counting the cycle indicated by the timer value, a connection request part for transmitting a connection request to the management control device every time when the counting is finished, an event detector for detecting an event, and a timer value modifier for modifying the timer value to a value indicating a shorter cycle, upon occurrence of the event. The connection request part further transmits the connection request to the management control device, upon occurrence of detecting the event, and the timer value modifier modifies the timer value a value indicating a longer cycle, upon receiving a message indicating that there is no processing request from the management control device.

摘要： The objective is an optical transmission unit capable of coupling and branching signal lights of individual wavelengths at a data rate of 10 Gbits/s. In order to achieve the objective, DCFs are provided and proper values of dispersion compensation are given, so that different characteristics depending on the respective wavelengths to be coupled, split and pass through without being split are obtained. The signal lights are amplified by a plurality of low-excitation optical amplifiers to regain their light levels which are weakened due to using an optical coupler, branching filter and DCF together, thereby enabling a long-distance transmission.

摘要： Part of a first signal path for amplifying a signal includes circuits for detecting a signal, and a second signal path connected to an input portion of the first signal path includes circuits for detecting the signal. A signal strength detector circuit adds outputs from the respective detector circuits in the first and second signal paths. The first signal path has a function of expanding the dynamic range in a smaller signal region as compared with the second signal path, while the second signal path has a function of expanding the dynamic range in a larger signal region as compared with the first signal path. When a radio transmitted output is variably controlled in a radio transmitter section based on a field strength detection output for a received signal, the transmitted output is optimized, resulting in minimizing consumed power and unnecessary radiation of radio waves.
