    摘要: A timing controller adapted to a flat display includes a voltage detecting circuit, a clock generator, a first multiplexer and a second multiplexer. The voltage detecting circuit detects a variation of an operating voltage and thus outputs a reset signal. The clock generator outputs a start signal and a first clock signal. The first multiplexer is controlled by the reset signal and coupled to the start signal and a constant voltage. The second multiplexer is controlled by the reset signal and coupled to the first clock signal and a second clock signal. A frequency of the second clock signal is obviously higher than a frequency of the first clock signal.

    摘要: A timing controller adapted to a flat display includes a voltage detecting circuit, a clock generator, a first multiplexer and a second multiplexer.     摘要: An apparatus and a method for generating overdriving values are provided, used to generate the overdriving values for displaying image data. The apparatus for generating overdriving values includes an outside environment sensor unit and an adjustment module. The outside environment sensor unit is for detecting at least an environment parameter. The adjustment module, electrically coupled with the outside environment sensor unit, receives environment parameters, generates and outputs the adjustment overdriving values according to the environment parameters. The above-mentioned environment parameters include at least one of a frame rate and a temperature.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) and an operating method thereof are provided. The operating method includes the following steps. It is determined whether a first frame and a second frame following the first frame are dynamic frames. When the first frame and the second frame are dynamic frames, a timing controller of the LCD performs a polarity inversion on a polarity signal, so that the polarity signal corresponding to the first frame is the same as the polarity signal corresponding to the second frame. When the second frame is written into an LCD panel of the LCD, energy written into the LCD panel is reduced.

    摘要: A line compensated overdriving circuit for use in a color sequential display is disclosed. The line compensated overdriving circuit comprises an overdrive unit, a line compensation generator, and a line compensated overdrive (LCO) processor. The overdrive unit receives previous data and present data to output overdrive data. The line compensated generator receives a line position of each pixel to output a line compensated factor, and the LCO processor receives the line compensated factor and the overdriven data to generate compensated data for the pixel. Thus, the line compensated overdriving circuit can eliminate the spatial intensity variations associated with the conventional color sequential displays.
