    摘要: Provided is a paint composition which can give a coating having excellent stretchability and further having excellent contamination resistance. A solvent-based paint composition comprises a fluorocopolymer (I), and an organic solvent (II), the fluorocopolymer (I) including: a perhaloolefin structural unit (a) that contains two carbon atoms, a vinyl acetate structural unit (b), a hydroxyl group-containing vinyl monomer structural unit (c) represented by the following formula (1): CH2═CH—O—(CH2)n—OH wherein n is an integer of 2 or more, and a carboxyl group-containing monomer structural unit (d) represented by the following formula (2): R1R2C═CR3—(CH2)m—COOH wherein R1, R2, and R3 are the same as or different from one another, and each a hydrogen atom or a C1-C10 linear or branched alkyl group; and m is an integer of 2 or more.

    摘要: Provided is a method for producing a fluoropolymer in the presence of a specific non-fluorinated compound having surface activity. The method shows a high polymerization rate, and suppresses formation of sticking polymerization materials after production of a polymer product. The method includes aqueous dispersion polymerization of a fluoroolefin in the presence of a compound (1) represented by formula (1): wherein R1 and R2 are the same as or different from each other, and each represent a C4 to C12 non-fluorinated saturated hydrocarbon group; and M is an alkali metal, an ammonium salt, or an amine salt.

    摘要: An aqueous-dispersing composition of synthetic resin (A) having an intrinsic viscosity “&eegr;” of from 0.3 to 2.0 measured at 35° C. in a methyl ethyl ketone solvent or a mixture of that aqueous dispersion and an aqueous dispersion of synthetic resin (B) having an intrinsic viscosity “&eegr;” of not less than 0.6 which is larger by 0.3 or more than the intrinsic viscosity “&eegr;” of the synthetic resin (A) when the intrinsic viscosity is measured at 35° C. in a methyl ethyl ketone solvent. The aqueous-dispersing composition and the mixture have improved film forming property and can give a coating film being excellent in chemical resistance, water resistance, mechanical properties and further hot water resistance.
