    摘要: This invention aims at providing a novel semiconductor accelerometer comprising a smaller number of substrates and a production method thereof.An insulating film is formed on a main plane of a P-type silicon substrate, and a beam-like movable electrode is formed on the insulating film. Fixed electrodes are then formed on both sides of the movable electrode in self-alignment with the movable electrode by diffusing an impurity into the P-type silicon substrate, and the insulating film below the movable electrode is etched and removed. There is thus produced a semiconductor accelerometer comprising the P-type silicon substrate 1, the movable electrode 4 having the beam structure and disposed above the P-type silicon substrate 1 with a predetermined gap between them, and the fixed electrodes 8, 9 consisting of the impurity diffusion layer and formed on both sides of the movable electrode 4 on the P-type silicon substrate 1 in self-alignment with the movable electrode 4. This sensor can detect acceleration from the change (increase/decrease) of a current between the fixed electrodes 8 and 9 resulting from the displacement of the movable electrode 4 due to acceleration.

    摘要: A method for forming an ultrafine particle film of compound includes the steps of evacuating a vessel provided with an evaporation source in its bottom portion, by which a material to be evaporated is retained, and a base plate in its upper portion, on which ultrafine particles of compound are to be deposited, supplying a reactive gas into the evacuated vessel, evaporating the retained material by heating the evaporation source and making the material interact with the reactive gas to form ultrafine particles of compound and depositing the formed ultrafine particles of compound on the base plate. The reactive gas is directly supplied to an interaction area adjacent to the evaporation source, in which the evaporated material concentrically exists. And a device for forming a ultrafine particle film of compound has a vessel for forming a reactive gas atmosphere, an evaporation source for retaining and heating a material to be evaporated, which is provided in the bottom portion within the vessel, a base plate on which ultrafine particles of compound are to be deposited and which is provided in the upper portion within the vessel so as to be opposed to the evaporation source in the vertical direction, and a gas introducing pipe for supplying a reactive gas into the vessel, which has a gas injection port positioned in an interaction area adjacent to the evaporation source.

    摘要: An information communication system is capable of allowing a service provider at a facility to appropriately attend a user visiting the facility in accordance with an intention of the user. The information communication system includes a user apparatus carried by the user and a facility apparatus installed at a facility the user may visit. The user apparatus enters the user intention concerning the facility service provider and transmits intention information indicating the entered user intention to the facility apparatus capable of short range wireless communication. The user apparatus transmits appearance information indicating the user's captured face picture to the facility apparatus. When receiving the intention information from the user apparatus, the facility apparatus allows a display section to display the user intention indicated by the intention information along with the user's captured face picture indicated by the appearance information received from the user apparatus.

    摘要: A detector detects at least one of environmental information on the environment and physical information on the user's physical condition, when the user gets into a vehicle. Each of the environment and the physical condition is divided into a plurality of zones. A memory stores statistical data each representing the probability of the user selecting one of the driving positions in the vehicle in one of the zones. One of the driving positions can, from the probabilities allotted to them, be estimated to be optimum for the user in the zone into which the detected information falls. As a result, even if the user's preference in driving position changes with the environment or the user's physical condition in which the user gets into the vehicle, it is possible to adjust the driving position automatically according to the current preference.
