    摘要: Provided are a method of and apparatus for lossless video encoding and decoding, in which a differential residual block generated by calculating a difference between pixels of a residual block resulting from interprediction is encoded, thereby improving the compression rate. The method of lossless video encoding includes performing interprediction between a reference frame and a current frame in units of a predetermined-size block to generate a predicted block of a current block to be encoded, generating a residual block composed of residual signals corresponding to differences between pixels of the predicted block and the current block, calculating differences between the residual signals of the residual block in a predetermined direction and generating a differential residual block based on the calculated differences, and performing entropy-encoding on the differential residual block.

    摘要: Provided are a method and apparatus for entropy-encoding/entropy-decoding video data. The method of entropy-encoding video data includes binarizing coefficients of the frequency domain, which are generated by transforming a residual block of a current block into the frequency domain, using different binarization methods and performing binary arithmetic coding on the binarized coefficients. In this way, the coefficients are binarized adaptively according to whether the frequencies of the coefficients are high or low, thereby improving the compression efficiency of the video data.

The local oscillation frequency generation apparatus includes: an oscillation unit which comprises a plurality of VCOs that provide at least two local oscillation signals having different frequencies for modulating/demodulating RF signals in at least two frequency bands; a PLL which locks the frequencies of the local oscillation signals provided by the VCOs; a first switch which selects one of the local oscillation signal provided the VCOs according to a frequency band of a RF signal; a frequency conversion unit which converts the frequency of the selected local oscillation signal; and a phase shift unit which generates I-phase and Q-phase local oscillation signals by shifting the phase of a signal output by the frequency conversion unit.

The broadband low noise amplifier includes an input terminal into which a radio frequency (RF) signal received by an antenna is input, an output terminal from which an amplified RF signal is output, at least one gain control part connected in parallel with loads of the output terminal to adjust the gain of the amplified RF signal, and at least one load tuning part that resonates with loads of the output terminal to adjust the resonance frequency of the load impedance. The method includes amplifying the input RF signal and outputting the amplified RF signal to an output terminal, where a gain of the amplified RF signal is adjusted by switching operations of at least one switching device connected in parallel with a load of the output terminal.

The I/Q quadrature demodulator includes an input terminal that converts an input RF signal into a RF current signal and is shared by an I mixer and a Q mixer, and the I mixer and the Q mixer receive the input RF current signal from the input terminal and output an I signal and a Q signal, respectively. The I mixer and the Q mixer share a single input terminal, thereby reducing power consumption, increasing conversion gain, and reducing a noise figure.

The wideband DCO includes an active element which is driven by a first digital control signal; a single inductor which is connected to the active element in parallel, and comprises fixed inductance; and a plurality of capacitors which are connected to the single inductor in parallel, and vary operating frequency by being selectively turned on or off by a second digital control signal. Accordingly, the wideband DCO capable of operating in a wideband frequency range using a single inductor is provided, and if the wideband DCO is implemented using a single integrated circuit (IC) chip, the size of chip is reduced as the single inductor is used.
