    摘要: A first carrier signal generator (15) generates a carrier signal (S1) at a first frequency to modulate a preset identification code (S). A second carrier signal generator (16) generates a carrier signal (S2) at a second frequency, distinct from the first frequency. A modulator (14) affixes the identification code (S) to the carrier signal (S2), and outputs the carrier signal (S2) to a light-emitting circuit (17). When a "smart" or "learning" remote controller, of the type that demodulates frequency, receives the identification code (S), the carrier signal (Sw) of the second frequency is demodulated at the first frequency, compressed and stored in memory. The carrier signal (S2) set at the second frequency can cause the memory capacity of the remote controller to overflow, thereby preventing the identification code (S) from being stored in the learning remote controller.

    摘要: When a vehicle enters into the lower portion of a shielding member, a headlamp is switched on, and a condition flag is set to Set 1 which represents a waiting state in which the vehicle exterior is estimated to become bright/dark intermittently. When the condition flag is set to Set 1, when the vehicle enters into the lower portion of the shielding member, the condition flag is set from Set 1 to Set 2 which represents an intermittent state in which the vehicle exterior becomes bright/dark intermittently with high possibilities. When the condition flag is set to Set 2, a switch-off extension time CFE and a switch-off delay time CTF make a time until the headlamp is switched off. As a result, the time until the headlamp is switched off is delayed, and the headlamp is required to remain switched on at portions where the vehicle exterior becomes bright/dark intermittently.

    摘要: A light sensing apparatus for different control systems includes a photosensitive element which generates a light current depending on light incident thereto. A pre-circuit connected to the photosensitive element is operative for generating separate basic signals in response to the light current generated by the photosensitive element. Processing circuits connected to the pre-circuit are active simultaneously for converting the basic signals generated by the pre-circuit into conversion-resultant signals having different forms respectively. The conversion-resultant signals are outputted to the control systems respectively. At least one of the processing circuits may include an oscillation circuit which oscillates at a frequency depending on related one of the basic signals generated by the pre-circuit.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for detecting timing pulses for descrambling a scrambled television signal, wherein a video IF signal and a sound IF signal are separated from a scrambled television IF signal by utilizing different filters, a local video carrier wave synchronized with the separated video IF signal is generated and is mixed with the separated sound IF signal for producing a beat signal, the timing pulses are detected by demodulating the main sound IF signal, and then descrambling the received scrambled television IF signal by stretching horizontal synchronizing intervals in accordance with stretch data obtained by decoding compression data contained the detected timing pulses, whereby the main sound IF signal is separated from the beat signal by attenuating the auxiliary sound IF signal with a bandpass filter.
