摘要: A semiconductor integrated circuit includes a memory circuit, an oscillator circuit which generates an internal clock signal, based on control information held in the memory circuit, and a logic circuit which generates control information that causes the frequency of the internal clock signal to coincide with the frequency of an external clock signal. The internal clock signal is used for a synchronous operation of an internal circuit. Even if an error (undesired variation) occurs in the oscillation characteristic of the oscillator circuit due to process variations, it is possible to cause an internal clock signal frequency to coincide with an external clock signal frequency corresponding to a target frequency without the need for external attachment of a crystal oscillator and the input of an external clock signal.

Each of the internal pumps is connected to the variable-frequency generator of the internal pump driving unit and driven by an output power of the variable-frequency generator. Rotation number of the internal pump changes in dependence on the rotation number of the variable-frequency generator. The fluid coupling changes a transmission efficiency for the torque transmitted to the variable-frequency generator from the driving motor in response to the fluid coupling control signal.

摘要: A graphic processor which controls reading, writing and transfer of graphic data for a display memory that stores graphic data. The processor includes a first unit which stores first address information for addressing the display memory and first pixel address information which points a pixel position in a word specified by the first address information, a second unit which stores second address information for addressing the display memory and second pixel address information which points a pixel position in a word specified by the second address information, a third unit which shifts graphic data of multiple pixels included in two consecutive words to extract continuous 1-word graphic data, and a fourth unit which implements drawing computations pixel-wise concurrently for one word depending on the number of pixels included in a word. Even if transfer source graphic data lies across two consecutive words, the processor fetches the source data in single reading, processes the data word-wise at once, and stores the result in the display memory.

摘要: A system for controlling a target apparatus includes a supplying section, a reasoning section, and a control section. The supplying section supplies n states of the target apparatus (n.gtoreq.2 and an integer). The reasoning section receives the n sensed states as n results from the supplying section and performs fuzzy backward reasoning for data representing the n results and causality data to generate certainties of m causes (m.gtoreq.2 and an integer). The control section controls the target apparatus in accordance with the certainties of the causes.

摘要: A vessel for solidifying radioactive waste pellets includes a vessel body, an inner lid mounted within the vessel body and fixedly secured to an upper portion of the vessel body, and a device for preventing the pellets from floating fixedly secured one end thereof to the inner lid. The inner lid has an opening formed at a generally central portion thereof, and the pellet float prevention device is extended into the opening of the inner lid to define gaps therebetween allowing the passage of a solidifying material in the state of a liquid or a slurry therethrough but preventing the passage of the radioctive waste pellets therethrough. The pellet prevention device, when receiving a downward urging force, is bent downward to enlarge the gaps therebetween for allowing the radioactive waste pellets to pass therethrough. The pellet float prevention device is returned by a resilient restoring force to its initial position when the downward urging force is released. The pellet float prevention device comprises a plurality of coil springs fixedly secured to the inner lid in a radial manner, and some of the plurality of coil springs extend to an area close to the center of the opening in the inner lid. The coil springs are extended in such a manner that the axis of each of the coil springs is displaced a predetermined angle from the center of the opening in the inner lid.
