    摘要: An object is to provide a film that provides a capacitor excellent in safety function operability, and that has a high level of dielectric breakdown strength at high temperatures and good element-winding suitability. The object is achieved by a film containing a syndiotactic polystyrene resin and a polyphenylene ether resin, the content of the syndiotactic polystyrene resin in the film being 50 mass % or higher, the content of the polyphenylene ether resin in the film being 10 mass % or higher, wherein (A) the film contains titanium oxide particles as inorganic particles, and the content of the titanium oxide particles in the film is 0.55 mass % or higher and 3 mass % or lower, and/or (B) at least one surface of the film has a reduced peak height Spk of 0.05 μm or more and 0.30 μm or less.

A base sheet for a total heat exchanger element comprising calcium chloride in a paper base material, characterized in that the paper base material comprises pulp with a freeness of from 200 to 600 ml as measured in accordance with JIS P 8121 except that a pulp collection amount is set to 0.3 g/L; the paper base material has a bone-dry basis weight of from 17 g/m2 to less than 23 g/m2; and content of the calcium chloride is from 6 g/m2 to less than 9 g/m2.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for producing pentosan polysulfate, the method including a first step of obtaining an acidic xylooligosaccharide from a plant-derived raw material, and a second step of obtaining pentosan polysulfate from the acidic xylooligosaccharide. The first step includes a step of depolymerizing the plant-derived raw material. The second step includes a step of sulfating the acidic xylooligosaccharide. The method further includes a deacetylation step of adding a base to achieve a pH of 11 or higher. The deacetylation step is a step performed after the depolymerization step. The production method of the present invention can provide pentosan polysulfate having a low acetyl group content, and also produce pentosan polysulfate with a high yield inexpensively and efficiently.
