    摘要： A method and a device for grinding the flat end faces of rollers for rolling bearings are described. The rollers, which move along a substantially circular path between two rotary grinding wheels disposed one in front of the other, are carried by a rotating transport member, and rotate about its own axis. Said rollers roll on one or more rolling tracks which are coaxial with the axis of the transport member. The rotation of the rolling tracks and that of the transport member are independent of one another.

Speed changing means are provided, responsive to the output of the detector means, for effecting a change in the speed of the advancing mechanism of the grinding wheel.

    摘要： Rolling bearings are formed by disposing a crown of rolling bodies such as balls in contact with each other between a pair of concentric cylindrical deformable metal tubes, and then deforming the tubes toward each other on axially opposite sides of the balls by simultaneously exerting on the sleeves pressures directed toward the balls, thus utilizing the balls as forming elements for generating rolling tracks for the balls on the races provided by the sleeves. The sleeves are rotated relative to each other during this deformation by contoured forming rollers applied to the inner and outer surfaces of the inner and outer races, respectively.
