A polybutylene terephthalate resin composition which is free from bleeding and other problems, and improves the flowability (melt-flowability) while maintaining the characteristics such as mechanical strength or toughness. To 100 parts by weight of a composition composed of 50 to 90% by weight of (A) a polybutylene terephthalate resin and 10 to 50% by weight of (B) inorganic filler, is blended 0.05 to 5 parts by weight of (C) a glycerin fatty acid ester being composed of glycerin and/or a dehydrated condensate thereof and a fatty acid having 12 or more carbon atoms and having 200 or more hydroxyl value determined by a method specified in the description.

Provided is an injection-molded article with excellent external appearance, low warping, heat resistance, and durability to heating and cooling. An injection-molded article for which (1) deflection temperature under load according to ISO 75-1 is 165-220° C., (2) surface gloss at 45° by the JIS Z8741 testing method is 95-110, (3) the flatness of flat plates of 120 mm length, 120 mm width and 2 mm thickness with JIS B0021 is 0-2 mm, (4) after tensile property evaluation test pieces molded according to ISO 3167 were heat-treated for ten days in a 150° C. hot air oven and then treated for 24 hours at 23° C. and 50% RH, stretch at break measured according to ISO 524-1, 2 is 1.5% or more.

To provide a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition having excellent tracking resistance, mechanical strength, and low-hygroscopicity, and being flame-retarded by a non-halogen-containing flame retardant. A polybutylene terephthalate resin composition is prepared by compounding polyamide resin, an organic phosphorous flame retardant, and a nitrogen-containing flame retardant assistant into polybutylene terephthalate resin, wherein the content of the polyamide resin is not less than 1 part by mass and not more than 15 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of the polybutylene terephthalate resin.

A laser-weldable polybutylene terephthalate-series resin composition having a high laser weldability is provided. The resin composition comprises (A) a polybutylene terephthalate-series resin and (B) a fatty acid-series compound (e.g., a C12-36 fatty acid ester, and a metal salt of a C12-36 fatty acid), and if necessary (C) a cyclic polyester oligomer (e.g., a cyclic polyalkylene terephthalate oligomer). In the resin composition, the proportion of the fatty acid-series compound (B) may be usually about 0.01 to 1.0 part by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the polybutylene terephthalate-series resin (A).

The present invention provides a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition which satisfies both performances such as high durability in an environment of heating and cooling cycle, and adhesion property to silicone rubber. Specifically, provided is a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition, exhibiting an excellent adhesion property to silicone rubber, containing: (A) 100 parts by weight of polybutylene terephthalate resin; (B) 5 to 30 parts by weight of a core-shell type polymer having a mean particle diameter of 2 μm or larger, in which a core layer is structured by an acrylic-based rubber, and (C) 20 to 100 parts by weight of glass fiber.

Specifically, provided is the polybutylene terephthalate resin composition, exhibiting excellent adhesion properties to the addition-reaction type silicone rubber, including: (A) 100 parts by weight of polybutylene terephthalate resin; (B) 5 to 30 parts by weight of a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer containing 40% by weight or less of styrene component; and (C) 20 to 100 parts by weight of glass fiber.

A flame-retardant resin composition comprises 25 to 150 parts by weight of (B) a thermoplastic polyester1 elastomer, 5 to 40 parts by weight of (C) a phosphinic acid compound comprising a salt of at least one member selected from the group consisting of a phosphinic acid, a diphosphinic acid, and a polymerized product thereof, and 0.5 to 20 parts by weight of (D) an epoxy compound, relative to 100 parts by weight of (A) a polybutylene terephthalate-series resin. Such a flame-retardant resin composition is useful for various molded products and for covering the surface of an electric wire, or the like. The present invention provides a halogen-free flame-retardant resin composition which has a high heat resistance and a high flame retardancy and is excellent in hydrolysis resistance, abrasion resistance, and moldability (e.g., extrusion properties).

Provided is a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition maintaining mechanical strength while providing excellent toughness, and which has excellent flowability during melt molding. In particular, to 100 parts by weight of the sum of 50 to 99 parts by weight of (A) a polybutylene terephthalate resin and 1 to 50 parts by weight of (B) a thermoplastic elastomer, there is added 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of (C) an acrylic-based oligomer.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition, excellent in toughness, in hydrolysis proofing and moreover in chemical proofing. Specifically, there are blended (A) 100 parts by weight of a polybutylene terephthalate resin, (B) 20 to 40 parts by weight of an acrylic core-shell polymer in which a butadiene component is not contained, (C) 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of an epoxy compound, and (D) 0.05 to 1 parts by weight of an aromatic carbodiimide compound.
