A cross-linked silicone adhesive sheet has stability of peeling surfaces during peeling protective films away from both sides of the sheet. An adhesive sheet of a cross-linked silicone has protective films on both sides of the sheet. The protective films each have a thickness of 100 nullm or less. A force of peeling of the protective films from the sheet is equal to or below 5.0 N/m. The difference between peeling forces of the films is equal to or exceeds 0.2 N/m. A method of manufacturing the adhesive sheet of a cross-linked silicone includes the steps of forming a film-like body by placing a cross-linkable silicone composition in a layer having a thickness of 100 nullm or less between two protective films of different materials and then cross-linking the composition.

Glazing prelaminates and glazing laminates for vehicular and architectural applications are described. The glazing prelaminate includes a functional film adhered to a shock dissipating layer with an adhesive region between the functional film and the shock dissipating layer. The adhesive region contains a reacted organic titanate primer. The glazing prelaminate can be prepared at temperatures lower than about 120 null F. (49null C.). Methods of preparing the glazing prelaminate and the glazing laminate are provided.

The composition of the protective layer includes a fluoropolymer and the second polymeric film is a polymer free of fluoropolymer. The size of the protective layer facing the second polymeric layer is rendered bondable to the non-fluoropolymer of the second polymeric layer prior to assembling the layers in the composite. The composite is well adapted to being produced in a vertical coating tower. The tower utilizes a carrier web onto which the fluoropolymer layer and second polymeric layer are deposited from respective casting films. Mirror image composites can be formed simultaneously on opposite sides of the carrier web.
