摘要： Devices and method for warm gas therapy is provided. Device comprises a gas warmer assembly to warm a first gas to a temperature in a first temperature range to obtain warm first gas. The device comprises a first delivery unit that can deliver the warm first gas to a main treatment chamber which encloses a sub-treatment chamber to retain heat therein. A second delivery unit can receive a therapeutic gas from a gas supply. The second delivery unit comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion substantially passes through the first delivery unit and therapeutic gas in the first portion is warmed by the warm first gas. The second portion delivers the warm therapeutic gas to a sub-treatment chamber. The sub-treatment chamber encloses a body part of a patient.

摘要： An electric steam generator comprises a cylindrical receptacle, containing heating means having a spaced double walled jacket receiving a wick therebetween and open at the top to admit liquid to the wick for vaporization. The heating means comprises a heating wire on the inside of the jacket and is mounted on a float functioning as a piston in the receptacle. An electric terminal ring is fixed on the upper part of the receptacle and a conductor pin is connected to one end of the heating wire and extends upwardly through said terminal ring in sliding contact with the inner wall of said ring to feed current to said heating wire, while it leaves the terminal ring to brake the current when the liquid has vaporized and the float reaches the bottom of the receptacle.

The heat emitter warms the liquid when the heat emitter is turned on. A cartridge is removably couplable to the mat. The cartridge includes a pair of first ports. The conduit is in fluid communication with a pair of second ports. Each of the first ports is removably coupled to one of the second ports to fluidly couple the conduit to the cartridge. The cartridge is fillable with a cold fluid so that the conduit is cooled when the pump is turned on and the cartridge is coupled to the conduit.

摘要： The invention provides a forced air warmer comprising: a chamber having an outlet port; an air heater arranged to heat air within the chamber; an air propagator arranged to propagate heated air from the chamber along a heated air flow path passing through the port; and a temperature sensor provided in the heated air flow path to measure the temperature of heated air propagated along the heated air flow path. The forced air warmer further comprises an air flow conditioner in the heated air flow path downstream of the temperature sensor, the air flow conditioner being arranged to condition air flow at the temperature sensor so as to improve the reliability of temperature measurements made by the temperature sensor. The forced air warmer may be used to supply heated air to an air warming blanket for regulating the temperature of a patient.
