Abstract: A wearable resistance apparatus includes a waist band and a pair of leg resistance assemblies. Each leg resistance assembly includes a leg anchor, a foot anchor and at least one resistance band. The resistance bands preferably attach between a waist area and a foot area of a wearer and each extend down a rear of the wearer's legs. When the resistance bands are moved into a resistant position, tension is created in lower body muscles of the wearer, such as gluteal muscles, hamstring muscles and/or calf muscles. The wearable resistance apparatus provides exercise to the wearer during everyday activities and also provides enhanced exercise when performing activities such as walking, cycling, jogging and running.

Abstract: An interconnect module for use on a resistance band exercise device. The module can include one or more electronic transducers for tracking motions of the resistance band during exercises. The module can communicate wirelessly with a user's mobile phone running an app which monitors and directs usage. The module can include a pair of matable subsections. A base unit subsection can house the electronics while a band unit subsection can attach to an end of a resistance band. The subsections can quickly attach and detach from one another using a simple twisting motion. Additional second subsections can attach to different resistance bands thereby allowing adjustment of the exercise device properties by swapping out bands.

Abstract: In embodiments of animation using keyframing and projected dynamics simulation, an animation object is displayed with handles associated with object regions for the animation object, each handle being selectable for setting animation constraints on an object region. An animation simulator receives a user input designating a particular handle with an animation constraint, and sets the animation constraint on the particular handle for the associated object region. The animation simulator also receives another user input, designating a timing of the object region associated with the particular handle of the animation object through multiple frames in an animation sequence. The animation simulator projects a simulation of the animation object utilizing a projected dynamics algorithm that applies physics to simulate the set of object regions of the animation object in the animation sequence, the simulation including simulating the object region associated with the particular handle based on the timing and the animation constraint.

Abstract: A connecting system for connecting a tensioning member to a free-space shaft may comprise an inner element having an element spherical outer surface truncated at opposite truncated ends and may include an element bore extending through the inner element and coaxial with the element spherical outer surface. The element bore may have a bore axis and a bore cross section sized and configured complementary to a shaft cross section of the free-space shaft. A retaining collar may include a collar spherical inner surface complementary to and configured to receive the element spherical outer surface, and may have opposing collar ends. The collar spherical inner surface may define a collar axis. The retaining collar may allow universal motion of the bore axis relative to the collar axis. The retaining collar may include an arching portion for connecting the tensioning member to the shaft.

Abstract: An exercise machine has a mobile base and an upright support extending upwards from the mobile base. An upper support assembly extends forward from an upper portion of the upright support and an exercise device is suspended from the upper support assembly at a location spaced forward from the upright support. The mobile base has caster wheels and can be positioned from either side of a bed so as to extend partially under a bed with the upright support located on one side of the bed and the exercise device suspended over the bed in a position accessible by a patient lying supine in the bed for performing exercise. An anchoring system resists movement of the base for stability when exercise is performed.

Abstract: A portable strength training and exercise apparatus constitutes an attachment belt to be worn by individual about the waist. The attachment belt has attachments thereto at points on center and sides of belt portion, attached to belt is locking strap holder, used for holding down adjustment straps, handy for loosening and adjusting resistance tension of resistance elastic tube while training. On the opposite end of belt is four hollow ball end, used for holding in hand and attaching to foot.For upper extremities a hollow ball end is grasped in each hand fitting comfortably and is circular in shape gives individual flexibility and countless angles to exercise, individual donning apparatus exercises by moving both arms in almost any direction or angle an individual can manage.For lower extremities the hollow ball end is connected to feet using foot straps, fitting comfortably moving both legs while exercising in almost any direction or angle an individual can manage, exercising the entire body extremities, simultaneous by moving both arms and feet, swing forward and swing back, straighten and back, muscles involved in these motions is tensioned and exercised.Portable strength training and exercise apparatus is simple to use portable, friendly, light weight, low cost and ease of manufacturing making apparatus unique and affordable.
