    摘要: Apparatus for dispersing particulate material in a liquid, for example, particulate coal and agglomerating oil in water, comprising an upwardly extending, cylindrical container for the flow of the coal, oil and water upwardly therethrough passed a lower, flat blade type turbine rotor, an intermediate knife blade type turbine rotor and an upper pitched blade type turbine rotor. An annular shaped portion is around the intermediate rotor and houses the intermediate rotor in a cylindrical duct, longitudinally extending baffles extend upwardly along the container inner surface and are spaced therefrom. The lower rotor causes radially outward flow of the coal-water-oil mixture, the intermediate rotor causes fine break down and homogenization of the coal-water-oil mixture, while the pitched blade type turbine rotor causes reverse flow of the homogenized coal-water-oil mixture producing seed agglomerates of carbonaceous coal particles and oil leaving any ash particles dispersed in the water.

Stirring guides (114) for guiding a water-flow generated by a stirring bar (113) to both ends of a tank (106) in the longitudinal direction are disposed on the bottom of the tank (106). Thus, the water-flow generated by the stirring bar (113) is efficiently guided to both ends of the tank (106) in the longitudinal direction while keeping its momentum, and therefore a circulating water-flow for homogenizing the temperature of the water within the tank (106) can be effectively generated.

    摘要: An apparatus useful for the preparation of phosphoric acid from phosphate rock and a strong acid, comprises a closed vessel, a draft tube, means connected to the inner walls of said vessel amd mounting said draft tube in a vertical position within said vessel, an agitator positioned within said draft tube, a shaft for said agitator mounted axially of said vessel and extending into said draft tube, an inlet conduit to said vessel for introducing a feed slurry (e.g. phosphate rock and strong acid) into said vessel, said inlet conduit preferably having a lower end portion terminating within said draft tube and wherein, said draft tube has an outwardly flared lower skirt portion terminating in the bottom portion of said vessel, and preferably including a vent pipe connected to said inlet conduit to reduce foaming generated by the reaction in said vessel and to prevent blockage of said inlet conduit, and including means for applying air, under pressure, to the bottom of said reactor and/or under the bottom of said lower skirt portion, to prevent settling of undissolved solids.
