摘要: A building panel may be installed below a slab in the construction of buildings. The building panel supports the slab and also provides a ventilation layer that may be depressurized to eliminate or reduce infiltration of radon gas into the building. The ventilation layer may comprise channels which provide a two-dimensionally interconnected void. Ventilation panels which include collars for connecting to ventilation systems may be provided. The panels may be installed directly on compacted soil. The building panels may additionally provide sub-slab insulation and/or a capillary break for water drainage. In some embodiments the building panels are formed substantially entirely of thermal insulating material such as rigid polystyrene foam. In an example embodiment the panels are approximately 4 inches thick and have a grid of intersecting channels formed on an underside of the panels.

摘要: A duct canister for attachment to an axial fan includes a canister body having a first end with a first opening, a second end with a second opening, and a side wall extending between the first end and the second end of the canister body. The canister body includes an enclosed space defined by an interior surface of the side wall in which a duct is selectively stored for later extension and use. The second opening at the second end of the canister body is selectively covered by a cover member. A hinge assembly attaches the cover member to the second end of the canister body in a manner allowing one to selectively pivot the cover member between a closed configuration with the cover member fully covering the second opening and an opened configuration, wherein the opened configuration includes rotating the cover member 90 degrees from the closed configuration so as to open the second opening or rotating the cover member 180 degrees to a position beneath the canister body.

摘要: A workpiece positioning system integrated with a fume extraction device is provided. The system comprises a movable work surface assembly and a manifold. The work surface assembly includes a plurality of work surfaces and a plurality of ventilation ports. Each of the plurality of ventilation ports is disposed on each of the plurality of work surfaces to ventilate the corresponding work zone. The manifold is disposed below the work surface assembly and coupled to a duct system through which fumes produced during welding or cutting are to be transported to the fume extraction device. When a workpiece placed on a work surface is positioned for welding or cutting, the manifold is aligned and in fluid communication with the ventilation port corresponding to the work surface.

摘要: The present invention is a method of retrofitting a refrigeration unit, which contains dirty condenser coils, for more efficient operation. The method first comprises cleaning the dirty condenser coils of the refrigeration unit which are contained in an enclosure within such refrigeration unit having an opening. When the coils are in a cleaned condition the enclosure holding those coils is then covered with a non-vented cover that comprises an air-cleaning blower mounted on the outer surface of the cover over an orifice in the cover communicating with the enclosure to supply cleaned air to the enclosure containing the condenser coils.

摘要: The present invention provides an UV cleaning device of a glass substrate, comprising a lamp box, an UV lamp positioned above inside the lamp box, a transparent shield positioned under the UV lamp, a humidifier positioned under the transparent shield and a power exhaust device under the transparent shield and opposite to the humidifier; in usage, the glass substrate is conveyed to be inside the lamp box, and UV light generated by the UV lamp irradiates on the glass substrate through the shield to clean the glass substrate and a humidity and an oxygen content inside the lamp box are adjusted with the humidifier to make a surface of the glass substrate adsorb one layer of water molecules. The electrons generated as the UV light cleans can be gradually conducted and led out with water molecules to effectively restrain the accumulation of the electrostatic to reduce the phenomenon of electrostatic damage, and meanwhile, the increase of the oxygen content makes the concentration of the activated oxygen atoms increases along with. Accordingly, the result of cleaning the organic objects with the UV light is promoted.

摘要: A extraction system is designed for metal working and other applications. The system may comprise a cart-type base or may be incorporated into a fixed or semi-fixed installation. A blower delivers a positive pressure airflow to a hood that creates an air region by directing the air through an annular space between inner and outer shrouds, impacting the air against a single generally perpendicular flange. Return air from the operation may be mixed with fresh air, both of which may be filtered, to supply the positive pressure air. Both air streams to and from the hood may be adjusted to optimize operation. Adjustments may be made at the base unit or remotely.
