    摘要: An electronic component removal device comprising a cutting wire routed through a cutting region configured to receive an electronic component coupled to a substrate. The electronic component removal device can also include a leading actuator coupled to a leading end of the cutting wire to cause movement of the cutting wire in a cutting direction at a cutting speed. The electronic component removal device can further include a trailing resistance device coupled to a trailing end of the cutting wire to resist movement of the cutting wire in the cutting direction with a variable resistance. In addition, the electronic component removal device can include a leading tension sensor to sense a leading tension in the cutting wire between the cutting region and the leading actuator. The trailing resistance device can resist movement of the cutting wire with a resistance that varies based on the leading tension in the cutting wire.

The device further includes a feed for driving the bow with respect to the clamp portion and a detector for detecting bending of the wire and a control responsive to the detector for controlling feed rates. The device is made of modular parts and has synchronizing arms for clamping around a length of pipe. In one embodiment, the wheels are retained in enclosures with slots through which the cutting wire passes.

In its preferred embodiment, the machine also presents an assembly for the support and transmission of the cutting motion to the said diamond-wire loops which includes a wide-diameter wheel about which a belt is wound that is provided with races for housing the diamond-wire loops and which is tensioned by means of a tensioning wheel.

    摘要: A wire saw assembly having a slide frame, support frames, and a tensioning carriage. The slide frame has a mounting plate movably attached thereto. Rotation of a lead screw moves the mounting plate towards a work piece. Two support frames are attached to the mounting plate. Each support frame has a plurality of drive wheels and a hydraulic motor for each drive wheel. The tensioning carriage has a slide plate with an idler pulley attached rotatably thereto. Rotation of a threaded rod moves the slide plate and idler pulley to increase or decrease tension in the wire saw. A diamond wire saw is looped around the drive wheels and idler pulley. The slide frame is attached to the work piece and as the mounting plate is advanced towards the work piece, the diamond wire saw engages and cuts the work piece.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method of cutting a workpiece efficiently with high accuracy by utilizing tension adjusters to approximate tension in a wire in a wire saw to a predetermined target tension while effectively reducing only tension in a winder-side wire. The method comprises a forward-driven cutting step of cutting a workpiece while moving a wire forward, a first switching step of reversing a driving direction of the wire, a backward-driven cutting step of cutting the workpiece while moving the wire backward, and a second switching step of reversing a driving direction of the wire and returning to the forward-driven cutting step, the steps being repeated in this order. In both switching steps, only tension in a winder-side wire is reduced by tension manipulators. A reduction in target wire tension therefor is performed after completion of deceleration of the wire in each switching step.

In the wire saw having the row of wires formed by winding the wire about a plurality of work rollers provided to a swinging disk many times, for pushing a workpiece against the row of wires caused to reciprocate or travel in one direction at high velocity to cut the workpiece into a plurality of pieces, and for swinging the row of wires in cutting of the workpiece, a feed side pulley for guiding feed side wire going into the work rollers to the work rollers and a retrieving side pulley for guiding retrieving side wire going out of the work rollers to an outside are disposed coaxially on an axial center of rotation of the swinging disk so that the tension fluctuations do not occur in the wire even if the row of wires swings.

A plurality of dancer rollers are rotatably supported to a front end of a rotatable dancer arm. A plurality of guide rollers are disposed in such a manner as to oppose to the dancer rollers, thereby successively guiding one wire on the dancer roller through the guide rollers. A predetermined tension is applied to the wire by rotating and urging the dancer arm to one direction by an urging member.

The drive wheel is located at the handle end corner of the "U". At the other end of the "U", the frame has a "floating" corner piece housing one of the idler wheels and being spring biased away from the main part of the frame to provide saw blade tensioning.
