摘要： An instant concrete system for including in one portable package all the necessary ingredients and corresponding mixing device for making concrete. The instant concrete system includes a premeasured amount of concrete mix in a container. Included in the container is a bag containing a premeasured amount of water. The inside of the container is shaped with curved projections. The container includes a removable handle that can be used to open the water bag. A lid securely fits to the container. The portable instant concrete system can be transported to a remote work site, the bag of water opened and emptied into the concrete mix. The lid replaced on the container and the container moved back and forth to mix the ingredients. The curved projections internal to the container assist in making a concrete of the correct proportions and consistency.

摘要： A concrete comprises in relative parts by weight: 100 of Portland cement; 0.25 to 9 of a defoamer; 0.001 to 6 of a surfactant; 0 to 230 of coarse gravel and/or fine gravel and/or shear enhancers; 0 to 85 of sand; 0 to 60 of a particulate pozzolanic or non-pozzolanic material or a mixture thereof having a mean particle size less than 15 micrometers; 0 to 80 of a particulate pozzolanic or non-pozzolanic material or a mixture thereof having a mean particle size between 15 to 88 micrometers; 0.3 to 18 of a water-reducing superplasticizer; 0 to 14 of polyethylene fibers; and 5 to 40 of water. An air mixing process using a tightly sealed mixing tool is used to thoroughly mix the constituents of the concrete before adding the water for curing. By adjusting relative parts in the composition, concretes of high and ultrahigh performance can be achieved efficiently.

摘要： A method and apparatus for mixing fine powdered material with other dry material, without creating an objectionable dusty environment, which consists in placing the dry powdered material in a pan, carefully inserting the filled pan into the mouth of a rotatable mixing drum by sliding a pair of coaxial lugs that project from opposite sides of the pan along parallel tracks fixed to the walls of the drum and then by means of pointed screws passing through opposite walls of the drum to engage in sockets in the lugs, pivotally connect the pan to the drum so that during rotation of the drum after its mouth has been tightly closed, the pan swings around the axis of its pivotal connection with the drum and spills the fine powdered material onto the other material in the drum.

The mixing drum can include a body that forms an internal cavity and can have a forward end and a bottom end. The mixing drum can also include a mouth at the forward end of the body that provides access to the internal cavity of the mixing drum. The mobile mixing device can include a heater support arm having a heater secured to an end of the heater support arm that is distal from the mixing drum. The mixing drum can be used to process cement material when the heater support arm is in a stow-away position or asphalt when the heater support arm is in a heating position with the heater facing into the mouth of the mixing drum.

摘要： A batcher plant for producing ready-mixed concrete is miniaturized by disposing, side by side on a trestle, a cement-paste making unit with cement measuring means and a stationary cement-paste mixer and an aggregate processing unit with fine and coarse aggregate receptacles. Cement paste prepared by the cement-paste making unit is admitted from the cement-paste mixer into a mixing drum of a truck mixer independently of admission of mixed fine and coarse aggregates quantitatively measured by the aggregate receptacles, so that the loading of concrete materials in the truck mixer can be effectively carried out without loss of efficiency caused by waiting time.
