The control mechanism is in electrical communication with the lighting element (10, 20, 40, 50, 60, 70) and controls an energy output of the lighting element and a temperature of the oriented crosslinked semi-crystalline polymer (12, 22, 42, 52, 62, 72). Typically, when the control mechanism changes the temperature of the oriented crosslinked semi-crystalline polymer, the shape of the polymer changes. A method of making a light fixture (100, 200, 400, 500, 600, 700) is also provided. The method includes providing a lighting element (10, 20, 40, 50, 60, 70), forming a crosslinked semi-crystalline polymer (12, 22, 42, 52, 62, 72), and disposing the crosslinked semi-crystalline polymer adjacent to the lighting element (10, 20, 40, 50, 60, 70) or connecting the crosslinked semi-crystalline polymer to the lighting element. The method further includes electrically connecting a control mechanism (14, 24, 44, 64, 74) with the lighting element.

A mold of the lampshade to be completed is produced first, then a first layer of the unsaturated resin to the inner side of the mold is painted. Thereafter, a layer of glass fiber to the first layer of the unsaturated resin is stuck. Again, a second layer of the unsaturated resin to the glass fiber layer is painted. Finally, the lampshade from the mold after the material is solidified is removed.

A close loop thermoplastic recycling process includes the step of testing particulated processed plastic material to determine the properties thereof. The tested properties are compared with targeted near virgin properties of the processed plastic material to determine any difference(s) therebetween. Additives based on the property differences determined during testing are admixed with the particulates in a twin screw extruder. During extruding, volatile constituents are simultaneously withdrawn from the fused particulates. The twin screws of the extruder are provided with a number of screw sections, each having a thread with predetermined degrees of chamfer and pitch length. Kneading blocks are mounted on certain screw sections prior to a vacuum vent port disposed along the feed path of the melt stream in the extruder. The extruded material is tested to determine if any property differences exist. If no unacceptable tested differences are found, the extruded material is prepared for reuse in place of or in conjunction with virgin plastic material having the same properties and characteristics.

A plastic object with inner pattern is provided, including: a light-transmittable main body, monolithically formed by injection blow molding, having at least an outer surface and an inner surface, wherein the outer surface is smooth and the inner surface has predefined pattern. Because the process used by the present invention inserts a mold core with predefined pattern so that the patterns on the mold core can be formed on the inner surface of the monolithically formed object manufactured during the blow molding process. As such, the problems of complex and time-consuming steps and poor economical result associated with conventional techniques are improved.
