摘要: The invention concerns a cellulose fiber of the genus Lyocell which is treated with a cross-linking agent, with the cross-linking agent inducing a protection from fibrillation on the fiber and exhibiting the following properties: the protection from fibrillation induced by the cross-linking agent changes if the fiber is stored within a pH range from 4.0 to 10.0, in particular under the influence of moisture and/or heat, within the pH range from 4.0 to 10.0, an optimum value exists at which the stability of the protection from fibrillation induced by the cross-linking agent during storage is highest a suitable range exists around the optimum value in which the stability is reduced by 20% at the most, compared to the stability at the optimum value, within the pH range from 4.0 to 10.0, the suitable range is limited by at least one limiting value at which the stability is reduced by 20% compared to the long-term stability at the optimum value and with a further decrease in stability occurring below and above said value, respectively, and the cross-linking agent has the capability to change the pH value. The fiber according to the invention is characterized in that the fiber comprises a buffering substance in the suitable range and exhibits a buffer capacity of at least about 12 mmol/kg fiber, preferably from about 15 to about 70 mmol/kg fiber, in the suitable range.

摘要: Disclosed is a microemulsion for a fiber treating agent providing softness, hydrophilicity, improving texture of a fiber and stability and dilution ability. A microemulsion composition includes the following components (A) to (E): (A) a linear organopolysiloxane having two or more polyoxyalkylene-containing organic groups represented by —CH2—CH(OH)CH2O—(C2H4O)b—(C3H6O)c—Z per molecule and a viscosity at 25° C. of 100 to 5,000 mPa·s in an amount of 80-98 mass %, (B) a nonionic surfactant, with an HLB factor of 12-16, in an amount of 1-10 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of the component (A), (C) an anionic surfactant in an amount of 0 to 3 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of the component (A), (D) an organic acid in an amount of 0.5-2 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of the component (A), and (E) water in an amount of 1-5 mass %.

摘要: A solid fabric softening composition is disclosed which includes a quaternary ammonium fabric softening compound which is stabilized to form a solid with a mixture of a water soluble organic salt and a medium to long chain carboxylic acid. This stabilizing combination has been shown to effectively form a solid quaternary ammonium based fabric softening composition with up to as much as 70% by weight of quaternary ammonium compound. The formulations are stable at typical storage temperatures of up to 110° F. and provide fabric softening similar to and even superior to other traditional liquid formulations.

The fiber according to the invention is characterized in that the fiber comprises a buffering substance in the suitable range and exhibits a buffer capacity of at least about 12 mmol/kg fiber, preferably from about 15 to about 70 mmol/kg fiber, in the suitable range.

摘要: Polypropylene fibers and devices that include a fatty acid monoglyceride added to the polypropylene as a melt additive are described. A hydrophilic enhancer material can be advantageously added to the polypropylene as a melt additive to enhance the hydrophilicity of the fibers and devices. An antimicrobial enhancer material can be added to the fibers to enhance the antimicrobial activity.

摘要: The invention describes a process for improving the sensory properties of fabrics. The fabrics are treated with a water-based preparation which contains alkyl oligoglycosides in combination with mixtures of mono- and diesters of saturated and unsaturated C16-22 fatty acids with diol and polyols, for example as a spray or in the form of a dryer sheet. The compositions may additionally contain auxiliaries and additives, preferably thickeners, such as in particular polymeric thickeners.
