    摘要: A pyramidal geotextile fabric comprising two sets of multi-lobe filament yarns interwoven in substantially perpendicular direction to each other, each of the multi-lobe filament yarns having pre-determined, different heat shrinkage characteristics such that, upon heating, the fabric forms a three-dimensional, cuspated profile. A method of stabilizing soil and reinforcing vegetation comprises the steps of placing a three-dimensional, high-profile woven fabric into soil, wherein the fabric comprises two sets of multi-lobe filament yarns interwoven in substantially perpendicular direction to each other, each of the multi-lobe filament yarns having pre-determined, different heat shrinkage characteristics such that, upon heating, the fabric forms a three-dimensional, cuspated profile; securing the fabric to the ground; and, distributing soil and seed onto the fabric such that the section of ground is quickly revegetated and thereby protected from further erosion.

    摘要: A system and method are provided for a protective barrier liner system on near vertical to vertical slopes of a waste facility. The system includes anchors installed into the side walls of the waste facility, a drainage network including geo-composite drain strips, steel reinforcement, a sprayed water proof membrane, and a pneumatically applied final protective concrete cap layer. The anchors may include soil nails launched from a pneumatic launching device or anchors placed in drilled bores then reinforced with grout. The water proof membrane may be installed between an initial layer of concrete and the final layer of concrete to protect the membrane from damage by facility operations. The steel reinforcement may include wire mesh, whalers, bearing plates, shear studs secured to the bearing plates, and combinations thereof. The system can be constructed in progressive bands spliced together enabling construction of the complete system over a longer period of time.

    摘要: Bonded composite open mesh structural textiles are formed of woven textile. The textile is formed from at least two, and preferably three, components. The first component, or load bearing member, is a high tenacity, high modulus, low elongation mono- or multifilament yarn. The second component is a polymer in yarn or other form which will encapsulate and bond yarns at the junctions to strengthen the junctions. The third component is an optional effect or bulking yarn. In the woven textile, a plurality of warp yarns are woven with a plurality of weft (fill) yarns. The weave preferably includes a half-cross or full-cross leno weave. At least a portion of the warp and weft yarns are first component load bearing yarns. The polymer component is used as required for the bonding properties necessary for the finished product, and especially to provide improved junction or joint strength. The effect or bulking yarns are used as warp and/or weft yarns and/or leno yarns as required to provide the desired bulk in the textile and relatively thick profile for the finished product.
