    摘要: A system is disclosed comprising a plurality of connected cuboctahedrons forming a column for a building, cuboctahedron comprising a plurality of legs connected by connectors, the first ends of two short sections of a leg are screwed into two separate first and second connector balls, and wherein the first ends of two separate coupling nuts are screwed fully onto the first and second ends of a longer separate section of leg, and wherein the first and second ends of each such longer section of leg, with said coupling nuts screwed fully thereon, are fitted end to end with the second ends of the two short sections of leg already fitted into the corresponding first and second connector balls, first above mentioned, and wherein the first ends of each such coupling nuts are screwed from the first and second ends of the longer section of leg onto the second ends of the short sections of leg first above mentioned which had been screwed into said first and second connector balls.

    摘要: The invention is about a supporting framework, having nodes and at least one framework component. The framework components are either panels or diagonal braces or a combination of them. At least one node has a connector and at least two bars. At least one connector has a plurality of bar receiving members that are located in a corresponding plurality of faces of an imaginary polyhedron and at least one bar has a first end, fixed to the one of the bar receiving members of the connector of a first node and a second end, fixed to the corresponding bar receiving member of the connector of another node. The node further comprise a holder for the diagonal braces or panels.

    摘要: In an architectural system, a triangular base engages an extension. The base includes three complete struts substantially aligned along their respective axes. These axes each intersect each other to form a triangle contained in a base plane. The triangle's vertices each correspond to a respective nucleus of nodes called A, B and C. This forms three base angles. The first angle has a positive value about equal to [j×20.9°+k×31.7°+m×36°+n×37.4°], where j, k, m and n are each an integer less than three. The second angle also has a positive value about equal to [q×20.9°+r×31.7°+s×36°+t×37.4°], where q, r, s and t are each an integer less than three. The third node engages the second and third complete struts and must be large enough to maintain the third base angle at a positive value less than 60°.At least one of the base triangle struts comprises two or more rigid pieces able to move apart so as to produce a strut elongation. The extension comprises a fourth complete strut substantially aligned along a fourth axis forming a substantially acute angle >3° with the base plane.
