Abstract: An aftertreatment system for treating constituents of an exhaust gas includes: a housing defining a first internal volume and a second internal volume; an oxidation catalyst in the first internal volume and extending along a first axis, the oxidation catalyst configured to receive at least a portion of the exhaust gas via an inlet conduit fluidly coupled to the oxidation catalyst; a filter in the first internal volume and extending along a second axis parallel to and offset from the first axis, wherein an outlet of the filter is disposed within the second internal volume and configured to emit the exhaust gas into the second internal volume; at least one selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst in the second internal volume and extending along a third axis that is perpendicular to the first axis; and a decomposition tube in the second internal volume in a direction parallel to the third axis.

Abstract: A system and method for reduction of Nitrogen Oxide emissions from marine engines by converting Nitrogen Oxide into Nitrogen is disclosed. The modular reactive cyclic induction apparatus connects to the exhaust of a conventional diesel marine engine and uses air pressure and the sodium chloride in seawater to create a molecular reaction to break down Nitrogen Oxide into Nitrogen by use of an induction apparatus. The system can also include a loop for removing Carbon Dioxide through electrolysis, and removes other environmental pollutants as well, including for example Sulphur oxides, hydrocarbons, and particulate matter during the process.

Abstract: The invention relates to an air cleaner for a vehicle which can be installed on the rear of the vehicle, which includes a suction pipe provided with a slit having a length corresponding to a width of the vehicle, an air pump connected to inside of the suction pipe by a guide pipe, and a filter means connected to the air pump. The air cleaner is operated in a way of sucking exhaust gas and fine dust generated from an exhaust line of the vehicle together with fine dust and dust particles generated around tires of the vehicle during driving of the vehicle, removing them, and then discharging purified air to the atmosphere. The air cleaner can effectively remove the fine dust and various-shaped dust particles directly and indirectly generated from the vehicle, and remarkably reduce generation of fine dust by considerably suppressing diffusion of fine dust into atmosphere.

Abstract: An apparatus for exhaust gas purification comprises a filter function. The apparatus includes a gas-permeable substrate which forms a wall-flow filter that forms channels. The channels are sealed at least at one end and exhaust gas is flowable through the channels and gas-permeable channel walls of the channels formed from the substrate. A surface of the substrate is provided with an oxygen-storing coating. The mass of an oxygen-storing material coated on the surface of the substrate on an outflow side is higher than the mass of the oxygen-storing material coated on the surface of the substrate on an inflow side.
