    摘要: A cooling system for an engine includes a block-side water jacket divided into a block cooling passage and a bypass passage in the circumferential direction of the block-side water jacket, the block cooling passage allowing a cooling liquid introduced into the block cooling passage to flow into the head-side water jacket via a first communication hole of a cylinder head, and the bypass passage allowing the cooling liquid to bypass the block cooling passage and flow into the head-side water jacket via a second communication hole of the cylinder head. The cooling system further includes a partition separating a downstream end of the block cooling passage and the bypass passage from each other in the circumferential direction. The partition is provided with an adjustment hole which makes a flow of part of the cooling liquid passing through the bypass passage directed to the first communication hole.

    摘要: A cooling apparatus for an engine includes a main circuit, a warm-up circuit, a coolant passage, a coolant pump, a pre-branching passage, a coolant temperature sensor and an agitator. The warm-up circuit allows a coolant to bypass the main circuit. The coolant passage is provided inside an engine body. The coolant pump is configured to cause the coolant to flow through the coolant passage. The pre-branching passage is communicated with an outlet side of the coolant passage, and communicated with the main circuit and the warm-up circuit. The coolant temperature sensor is configured to detect a coolant temperature inside the pre-branching passage. The agitator is disposed downstream of the coolant temperature sensor in a direction of coolant flow when the coolant pump is operating. The agitator is disposed at a boundary between the pre-branching passage and the main circuit or in a vicinity of the boundary.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a cylinder crankcase and a cylinder head that includes an integrated exhaust manifold, wherein the cylinder crankcase, the cylinder head and the integrated exhaust manifold have a continuous water jacket that forms part of a coolant circuit of the internal combustion engine. To ensure during shut-down cooling and/or warm-up cooling of the exhaust manifold that a majority of the coolant that is fed into the water jacket reaches the exhaust manifold, while only a small portion of the coolant flows around the cylinder through the cylinder crankcase, the coolant circuit includes a collector that communicates via passage openings having reduced opening cross-sections with the water jacket, and coolant channels arranged in extension of a flow direction through the passage-openings lead to the exhaust manifold, while coolant channels branching off laterally behind the passage-openings lead to the cylinder crankcase.

    摘要: An arrangement for cooling oil in a gearbox in a vehicle which is powered by a combustion engine, the arrangement including an oil cooler, an oil system configured to circulate oil between the gearbox and the oil cooler, and a coolant circuit configured and operable to lead coolant to the oil cooler. The coolant circuit includes a radiator element for cooling the coolant and a line to lead the cooled coolant from the radiator element to the oil cooler. The coolant circuit has a flow-regulator to regulate the coolant flow through the radiator element for imparting to the coolant a temperature which makes possible a desired cooling of the oil in the oil cooler.
