The control device includes an abnormality determining unit to determine that an operating state is abnormal when an operating angle of the first louver from a start of the opening or closing operation until detection of the lock current is out of a predetermined reference operating angle range.

    摘要: The invention relates to a control device (D) which is intended to control the temperature of first and second fluids formed by the lubricating oil of the heat engine (12) of the vehicle and the recirculated exhaust gases respectively. The inventive device (D) comprises a first heat transfer liquid/lubricating oil exchanger (14) and a second heat-transfer liquid/recirculated exhaust gases exchanger (16), said first and second exchangers being connected to the same heat transfer liquid circuit (10). A first end cap is attached to the first end and a second end cap is attached to the second end. The first and second end caps provide a substantially enclosed internal cavity within the outer shell. A heat shield extends along a length of the outer shell and has a first shield end attached to the first end cap and a second shield end attached to the second end cap. The first and second shield ends are deformed around an outer perimeter of the first and second ends caps, or separate retaining members are used to secure the first and second shield ends to the first and second end caps.

    摘要: A method is provided for manufacturing a heat shield for an exhaust system component. The exhaust system component preferably is of tubular nonlinear configuration. The heat shield is formed from a larger pipe having an internal diameter greater than the outer diameter of the exhaust system component. Appropriately dimensioned inwardly directed supports are formed in the larger pipe. The larger pipe then is bent into a nonlinear configuration substantially identical to the configuration of the exhaust system component. The outer pipe then is cut longitudinally in half along its entire length to define a unitary nonlinear heat shield which can be mounted to the exhaust system component. A portion of the remaining half of the larger pipe can be reattached to the heat shield to provide an air gap pipe along a portion of the length of the exhaust system component.

    摘要: An engine system which combines an internal combustion engine with a unique air-cooling system. The air-cooling system includes a cooling cylinder(s) which is disposed in the engine block. Input air is expanded through the cooling cylinder from the intake manifold directly to the exhaust manifold. No high compression or combustion takes place in the cooling cylinder. Heat from the cooling cylinder is transferred to the input air, and the heated air is then exhausted to the internal combustion engine exhaust stream where it is used to help power a turbocharger.

According to the above technical solutions of the present application, the damper device can ensure performance without reducing the air volume under low temperature conditions, and can also suppress icing of the damper device.
