    摘要: A carburetor for a two or four stroke engine having a diaphragm chamber for supplying fuel to the air intake passage of the engine, and a reservoir for primer fuel. A manually operable pump or bulb draws fuel from the diaphragm chamber into the reservoir. An outlet passage leads from the reservoir to deliver primer fuel to the engine. A normally closed manually operable valve or button is provided for opening the outlet passage. A valve (5) controls flow of fuel from a fuel discharge port (O) of the pump. A vacuum operated means (9) moves the valve (5) from a position blocking fuel flow from the discharge port to a position permitting fuel flow. A switch (39) controls application of a vacuum to the vacuum operated means (9). A temperature sensor (57) senses engine coolant temperature and switches switch (39) when engine coolant reaches a predetermined temperature so the vacuum operated means (9) is exposed to atmosphere rather than engine vacuum.

    摘要: An accelerator pump system is provided which consists of a pump cylinder having an intake port communicating with a float bowl and a discharge port communicated with an acceleration nozzle or pump jet which injects fuel into the throat of a carburetor. The accelerator pump includes a pump plunger which is reciprocally movable within the pump cylinder in response to pivotal movement of the throttle lever of the carburetor. A pump lever and a connecting rod including thermally responsive material such as thermo-wax are in linking arrangement between the pump plunger and the throttle lever in a series relationship in order to control the stroke of the pump plunger thereby to control the amount of fuel which is discharged into the carburetor by the pump system. As a result, the amount of fuel discharged, as well as the lever ratio of the pump lever, i.e. the fuel discharging characteristic thereof, may be controlled in response to changes in ambient temperature.

The oil pumping unit can produce an oil pumping function to pump fuel from an oiler to the carburetor when a flywheel of an engine is revolving. When the carburetor is operating, it only needs to pull a starting line and does not need to extrude an oil pumping ball to pump the fuel for the carburetor or to close a choke valve. After hearing a voice like ‘poop-poop’, it does not need to half open the choke valve to warm the engine or to open the choke valve after warming the engine. Thus the operation of the carburetor is simple for users' convenience.

    摘要: A warming-up system of an engine for an automobile according to the present invention is provided with main and auxiliary nozzles in an air intake passage of a carburetor. The auxiliary nozzle is connected to an electromagnetically-operated fuel resupply pump. The warming-up system is further provided with a position detector for determining whether or not a throttle valve is in an open position, a rotation detector for detecting the rotational frequency of the engine, and a control circuit for controlling the drive of the pump in accordance with signals from the detectors. Based on the rotational frequency of the engine detected by the rotation detector, the control circuit determines whether the engine is in a cranking state or in a complete detonation state. When the engine is in the complete detonation state, the control circuit drives the pump to supply a predetermined quantity of auxiliary fuel to the intake passage through the auxiliary nozzle. When the engine is in the complete detonation state and if the throttle valve is determined to be open, the control circuit drives the pump to supply a larger quantity of auxiliary fuel than that supplied from the pump in the complete detonation state.

    摘要: An accelerating pump fuel system for an internal combustion engine carburetor. The pump component can be actuated by either a mechanical linkage actuated by a throttle lever or a vacuum motor responsive to intake manifold vacuum. A temperature responsive valve is positioned within the vacuum line between the vacuum motor and the source of intake manifold vacuum and blocks the signal to the vacuum motor at temperatures above a predetermined magnitude. Thus, under warm conditions only the mechanical linkage is responsive to the vehicle acceleration, whereas under cold conditions both the vacuum motor and the mechanical linkage are responsive to vehicle acceleration. By specifically designing the vacuum motor stroke to be longer than the mechanical linkage stroke, the accelerating pump is made to discharge a greater quantity of fuel at cold temperatures and a lesser quantity of fuel at warm temperatures. The temperature sensed by the temperature responsive valve may be engine compartment ambient temperature, intake air temperature, engine coolant temperature, or the like.
