    摘要: Disclosed is an electric fluid pump wherein a radial outer circumferential surface of a stator and an insulating flat surface of an insulating base part, on which crossover wire guides are mounted and which is perpendicular to the outer circumferential surface of the stator, are covered with a synthetic resin coating of predetermined thickness. Since the insulating flat surface of the insulating base part on which the crossover wire guides are mounted and the outer circumferential surface of the stator are covered with the synthetic resin coating, it is possible that, even when a winding force is exerted in a radially inward direction of the stator by winding of crossover wires on the crossover wire guides, the synthetic resin coating on the outer circumferential surface of the stator suppresses changes in the mounting angles of the crossover wire guides and thereby prevents loosening of the crossover wires.

    摘要: A tool for installing a flexible impeller within a water pump includes a sleeve having a diameter smaller than an initial diameter of an impeller in a relaxed state, a support extending about an end of the sleeve, and a translation assembly engaged with the support and configured for translating a pushing surface of the translation assembly. In operation, an impeller is contracted into a constrained state and placed in the sleeve, the sleeve is then positioned proximal or in engagement with an opening of the water pump, and the translation assembly is translated such that the pushing surface pushes the impeller into the engine assembly as the translation assembly is translated.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing an impeller and turbine assembly of a transmission includes providing an impeller housing and a turbine housing. An impeller blade defining an impeller receptor and a turbine blade defining a turbine receptor are provided. The impeller blade is mated to the impeller housing by deforming a portion of said impeller housing into the impeller receptor. The turbine blade is mated to the turbine housing by deforming a portion of the turbine housing into the turbine receptor. In this manner, the impeller blade is secured to the impeller housing and the turbine blade is secured to the turbine housing.

In order to produce a simple compressibility and expandability of the rotor of the pump, it is provided according to the invention that at least one rotor blade is deformable between a first state which it assumes in the compressed state of the rotor and a second state which it assumes in the expanded state of the rotor by means of a fluid counterpressure during a rotation of the rotor during pump operation.

The impeller includes an impeller shell including an inner circumference, an outer circumference and a radial extension extending radially outward from the inner circumference. The radial extension includes an axially extending groove formed therein. The impeller also includes an impeller hub welded to the impeller shell by a weld. The weld is radially inside of the axially extending groove. The axially extending groove is 5 to 10 millimeters from the weld. A method of forming an impeller for a torque converter is also provided.
