The diameter increasing portion includes a chamfered portion formed in the axial region of the diameter increasing portion, the chamfered portion connecting the tooth bottom and a tooth flank of the male spline to each other to reduce a tooth groove width.

An outer surface of the inner joint member is formed into a spherical surface which is held in slide-contact with an inner spherical surface of a cage. An inner surface of the outer joint member is formed into a cylindrical surface.

The maximum diameter of the outer circumferential surface of the inner ring (10) is greater than the minimum diameter the inner circumferential surface of the cage (40). On both end portions in the direction of width of the outer circumferential surface of the inner ring (10), spherical portions (16a, 16b) which have the centers of curvature at the positions offset by a predetermined distance across the center of width of the inner ring (10) are provided. Furthermore, the inner circumferential surface of the cage (40) is provided with a cylindrical portion (44) at a central portion in the direction of width, and spherical portions (46a, 46b) provided at both end portions, the spherical portions having the centers of curvature at the positions offset outwardly by a predetermined distance from the center of width of the cage (40).

    摘要: Automatic installation of a circlip is facilitated even when an axial length (inner race width) of a protrusion of an inner race is reduced. An inner race is installed in a constant velocity universal joint for transmitting torque while allowing angular displacement between itself and an outer race, with a shaft being inserted in a shaft hole formed in an inner bore to be spline-fitted thereto so as to be prevented from coming off by virtue of the circlip. A two-step chamfer having different chamfer angles is provided at a shaft insertion side end portion of the shaft hole. The two-step chamfer includes a first chamfer section situated on a shaft hole opening side and a second chamfer section provided on the side opposite to the shaft hole opening so as to be continuous with the first chamfer section. The chamfer angle α of the first chamfer section is set larger than the chamfer angle β of the second chamfer section.

    摘要: The present invention presents a structure for preventing a shaft of constant velocity joint from coming off which allows changing design of connection between the shaft and an inner joint member to a type for disassembly or anti-disassembly. The anti-disassembly type is realized in such a manner that a wall at an opposite side to a shaft pulling out direction of a retaining ring groove of the shaft is used as a contacting part to a retaining ring, wherein at least two points are formed on the contacting part, one of which is on a perpendicular surface and the other is a corner of the contacting part, these two points are contacted with an inner surface of the retaining ring thereby provides the anti-disassembly type for preventing the ring from being contracted in a radial direction.
