    摘要: A method and system for configuring a hydromechanical transmission having a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor driven by the hydraulic pump and a pressure-driven actuator employs a particular torque-pressure curve configuration to maximize torque resolution with respect to actuator pressure changes while ensuring that the curve is substantially monotonic in each dimension and at any available motor speed within a predetermined motor speed limit and any available actuator pressure within predetermined actuator pressure limits. The resultant four-dimensional association between actuator pressure, motor speed, primary power source speed and motor torque allows selection of an actuator pressure to provide a desired torque.

    摘要: The modular transmission uses only a pair of small and light hydraulic machines of remarkably improved volumetric efficiency with pistons having body portions substantially as long as the axial length of the respective cylinders in which they reciprocate. The two hydraulic machines operate in a closed loop, one being used as a pump driven by the vehicle's engine, and the other used as a motor. Each machine has a fully articulatable swash plate. By computer control, the angles of the swash plates of the two machines are infinitely varied to provide an appropriate optimum ratio of engine/wheel speed for all conditions from start-up, city driving, hill climbing varied according to load and steepness, and over-drive for highway. This complete vehicle operation is attained while the vehicle's engine continues to operate at relatively constant speeds and relatively low RPM.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling a drive system for an industrial truck having an internal combustion engine and a hydrostatic transmission wherein the hydrostatic transmission has a pump the delivery volume of which is variable and at least one hydraulic engine acting on at least one wheel of the industrial truck, comprising a first controller for the speed of the industrial truck in which a desired speed value compares to a actual value arriving from a speed transducer, further in which a speed controller determines a corresponding desired motive force and in which the signal for the motive force and the actual speed is provided to a characteristics stage in which at least one characteristic is stored which assigns approximately optimal rpm values to power values of the internal combustion engine and presets a corresponding desired-value signal for the number of revolutions of the internal combustion engine, and a second controller underlying the first controller having a desired-value and actual-value comparator in which an actual value of the pump arriving from a pressure transducer is compared to desired-pressure value, further in which a pressure controller produces a variation signal for the delivery volume in the pump, wherein a desired-value transducer for the pressure determines the desired value from the desired motive force and parameters of the drive system.
