    Abstract: A control system for a powertrain in a machine includes a first sensor which generates a first signal indicative of a ground speed of the machine. The control system includes a second sensor which generates a second signal indicative of a load of an engine in the powertrain. The control system includes a third sensor which generates a third signal indicative of an operational state of the machine. The control system includes an input device which enables an operator to generate a request for a powertrain output. The control system further includes a controller in communication with the first sensor, the second sensor, the third sensor and the input device. The controller determines an engine speed command and a transmission output torque command to produce a powertrain output based at least on the first signal, the second signal and the third signal in response to the requested powertrain output.

    Abstract: A work machine includes a prime mover, a hydraulic pump to be operated by the prime mover to output an operation fluid, a hydraulic device to be operated by the operation fluid, a measurement sensor to measure a first temperature and a second temperature, the first temperature being a temperature of the operation fluid at starting of the prime mover, the second temperature being a temperature of the operation fluid after the starting of the prime mover, and a controller including a determiner to determine an upper limit revolution speed based on the first temperature, the upper limit revolution speed being an upper limit of a revolution speed of the prime mover, and a changer to change the upper limit revolution speed based on the second temperature.

    Abstract: A hydraulic excavator (1) includes a wireless authentication starting device (37) for switching conduction or non-conduction between a battery (18) and a starter motor (16) as well as a first electrical component (24) on the basis of an operation of a power switch (12) provided in the vicinity of an operator's seat (9) and authentication of a portable key (38) by wireless communication. The wireless authentication starting device (37) switches an “engine stop/conduction OFF” state to an “engine stop/conduction ON” state when, in the “engine stop/conduction OFF” state, the portable key (38) is within an authenticable range, the gate lock lever (13) is at an unlock position, and the power switch (12) is operated.
