    Abstract: A first gear mechanism is connected to an input shaft. A second gear mechanism is connected to the input shaft. A motor is connected to the first gear mechanism and the second gear mechanism. The motor continuously varies a speed ratio of a first output gear with respect to the input shaft and a speed ratio of a second output gear with respect to the input shaft. A planetary gear mechanism includes a first rotation element, a second rotation element, and a third rotation element. The planetary gear mechanism is rotatable about a first transfer shaft. A first driven gear is rotatable about a second transfer shaft. The first output gear is connected to the first rotation element. The second output gear is connected to the second rotation element through the first driven gear. The output shaft is connected to the third rotation element.

    Abstract: A motor vehicle transmission having a housing, input and output shafts, shifting elements, a first planetary gearset having sun, ring and planet gears and a carrier and a second planetary gearset having planet gears and carriers that are rigidly coupled. The carriers of the first and the second gearsets are fixed, respectively, to the output and input shafts. A sun gear of the second gearset can be connected by a first shifting element to the housing and by a second shifting element to the input shaft. The ring gear of the first gearset can be connected by a third shifting element to the housing and by a fourth shifting element to the carrier of the first planetary gearset. The sun gear of the first gearset and ring gear of the second gearset are rigidly coupled, and the shifting elements are arranged in the housing and are accessible from the outside.

    Abstract: A vehicular drive system which includes a first electric motor, a power distributing mechanism (first gear device), a second electric motor, and a step-variable automatic transmission (second gear device), and in which the first electric motor and the power distributing mechanism constitute a first unit, while the second electric motor and the automatic transmission constitute a second unit, and wherein the power distributing mechanism has an output shaft, and the automatic transmission has an input shaft which is connected to the output shaft, whereby a drive force can be transmitted between the first unit and the second unit. The individually prepared first unit and the second unit are assembled together into the vehicular drive system such that the output shaft of the power distributing mechanism and the input shaft of the automatic transmission are connected to each other. Accordingly, the drive system has an improved efficiency of assembling.

    Abstract: A transmission having input and output shafts, shifting elements and planetary gearsets including sun and ring gears, planetary gearwheels and a carrier. The carrier of the first gearset is fixed to the input.
