    摘要: An improved electrode assembly for an electrostatic type moisture meter for powdery or granular material includes an insulator, a high-tension electrode in the form of a stick mounted on the insulator so as to vertically extend therefrom, and a plurality of earth electrodes in the form of sticks arranged around and in parallel with the high-tension electrodes. The high-tension electrode has a protection insulator at the tip thereof. The insulator has air-emitting openings for emitting air therefrom to the base portion of the electrodes to remove the material remaining at the base portion of the electrodes after a measurement. The insulator preferably has an outer face sloped at its periphery.

    摘要: It is expected to provide an ion generating apparatus and an ion presence determination method that can prevent the lower accuracy of the ion presence determination caused by the humidity effect. The ion generators are switched ON at the different timing, the electrical potential of the collecting electrode is measured to determine that the ion is present (or not present) when the voltage difference is larger (or smaller) than the threshold. A humidity detecting unit is arranged in a duct. The set threshold for the determination is based on the humidity of the humidity detecting unit, and the ion presence determination is not performed when the humidity is equal to or more than a predetermined humidity. When the determination representing no ion is obtained predetermined times, the warning is output for the users with a LED of a display, a buzzer of a controller or the like.

    摘要: For monitoring respiration occurring through the respiratory tract or tracts of a patient, a sensor comprises two spaced-apart electrically conductive elements (2,3). Wires (8,9) extend from the elements to a measuring instrument. The transfer of an electrical charge between the elements is effected by means of charge carriers in an intermediate layer between the electrically conductive elements and responsive to moisture in respired air. The transfer provides an indication of respiration to a measuring instrument.
