    摘要: The present invention provides an integral cantilever monitoring device for a regulator having a positionable vent port that may be disposed proximate the lowest point of the monitoring device to allow drainage of liquids accumulating within the monitoring device due to humidity and precipitation. The monitoring device may also include a connection module allowing the monitoring device to be rotated independently of the actuator and valve body of the regulator to accommodate varying installation environments. The connection module may further include an inlet port for connection to a downstream pressure feedback line when the regulator valve body and connection module portions of a primary downstream pressure feedback passage are out of alignment due to rotation of the monitoring device.

Inside the regulator, each inlet has a closure member (62) connected to a diaphragm (100) for control of the closure members (62) in response to pressure inside the regulator (12). Biasing members (56) are stabilized in position by either an apertured plate (102), a cup (104) or both. A changeover handle (19) depresses one spring (56) or the other to bias one closure member (62) open to admit gas from the associated inlet (16 or 18).

    摘要: An apparatus free of polymer material in contact with process gas for delivering process gas for making semiconductors includes a pressure regulator for regulating the pressure of the process gas to be delivered by the apparatus from a supply of pressurized process gas. The pressure regulator has a first valve seat and a first valve which cooperates with the first valve seat for controlling the flow of process gas through the regulator. Both the first valve seat and the first valve are formed of metal. The apparatus further includes a second valve having metal-to-metal dynamic seating for controlling the flow of the gas from the supply to the regulator. The second valve is provided immediately upstream of the pressure regulator along a flow path for the gas through the apparatus. A relatively high creep of the pressure regulator is significantly reduced by operating the regulator in conjunction with the pneumatically operated (on/off) second valve.

    摘要: The present invention provides an improved two-stage pressure regulators for various compressed gases, and more particularly to pressure regulators used for gaseous fuels such as compressed or liquified natural gas. The pressure regulator of the present invention is a robust, compact, high flow, low droop, low pressure drop and low creep regulator which is suitable for both OEM and aftermarket use. It can be used by itself, or with an optional third stage to provide a three stage regulator such as the atmospheric (or zero pressure differential) types commonly used to regulate the fuel pressure for gaseous carburetion systems. It is particularly useful in mono-, bi-, and dual fuel engine applications. The two stage regulator of the present invention consists of a single base (the "regulator base") upon which are mounted all of the components of the regulator, including the first and second stage regulator spring towers, a pressure relief valve (or PRV) spring tower, a filter assembly, a high pressure solenoid-activated valve, and an optional cylinder pressure sender. Channels provided in the base, for example by machining, permit the flow of coolant or other fluid through the base to control the temperature of the pressure regulator, and thus the outlet temperature of the gas flowing through it.

    摘要: A two-stage gas regulator for liquefied-gas containers includes a lower body and an upper cover with a mediate plate disposed therebetween. The lower body has a plurality of inlet ports respectively in fluid communication with a corresponding liquefied-gas container, a first pressure-reduction chamber selectively in fluid communication with one of the inlet ports under control of a switch, a second pressure-reduction chamber in fluid communication with the first pressure-reduction chamber, and an outlet port in fluid communication with the second pressure-reduction chamber and a gas stove. The mediate plate has a first opening and a second opening respectively in alignment with the first and second pressure-reduction chambers. A first membrane is provided in the first pressure-reduction chamber to cover the first opening, and a second membrane is provided in the second pressure-reduction chamber to cover the second opening and for operating a secondary pressure reduction. A flange protrudes from a periphery of the second opening and is received in a receptacle formed in the upper cover. A seal is provided around the flange for preventing fluid in the upper cover from entering the second pressure-reduction chamber.
