The apparatus includes a multiple axis controller, such as a dual axis footpedal, and a processing apparatus, such as an instrument host running software, configured to receive multiple axis data from the multiple axis controller. The apparatus also includes a first pump configured to provide nonzero fluid pressure at a first nonzero fluid pressure level based on a first axis state of the multiple axis controller and a second pump configured to provide nonzero fluid pressure at a second nonzero fluid pressure level based on a second axis state of the multiple axis controller. The processing apparatus causes switching between the first pump and the second pump based on the first axis state and the second axis state of the multiple axis controller.

An urging mechanism urges the pedal plate in a direction opposite to the depression direction of the pedal plate. A force release mechanism releases the pedal plate from an urging force applied by the urging mechanism. A holding mechanism switches the pedal plate between a state in which the pedal plate is held in an operable manner by applying a resistance force resisting operation of the pedal plate and a state in which the resistance force to operation of the pedal plate is released and the urging force of the urging mechanism is effective.

    摘要: A neutral lock mechanism for a direction and speed control pedal. Forward or down-toe motion on the pedal produces forward movement of a vehicle and rear, or down-heel, motion produces rear movement, while increased displacement of the pedal in either direction will produce an increase in speed. The neutral lock mechanism includes a latch pivotally connected to the pedal and spring loaded to a latching position in which the latch will engage the floor plate of the vehicle and prevent pivotal movement of the pedal. A lever is connected to the latch and projects upwardly through an opening in the pedal. The operator's foot, when in a normal operating position, will depress the lever and release the latch while mere accidental engagement of the operator's foot with the pedal will not release the latch and will retain the pedal in the neutral lock position.

    摘要: An electronic treadle (10) for generating an electrical signal proportioned to the degree of angular movement of a pivotally mounted treadle plate (14) includes a base (32) having side portions (26,28) which cooperate with corresponding side members (22,24) extending from the treadle plate. A pair of stops (76,78) are carried on one (26) of the side portions which cooperate with a tab (80) movable with the treadle plate (14) to limit the angular movement thereof. Movement of the treadle plate (14) is transmitted to a rotary potentiometer (66) carried on side portion (28) by a shaft (62) and socket (57) connecting the shaft to side member (22).

    摘要: A control device comprising a housing having a bottom pin, and a cable drum mounted on said bottom pin said cable drum being stressed by a reset spring 11. The cable drum 6 is radially and axially guided, at its periphery, by offset supporting rollers (1c). A regulating member 8a of a potentiometer 8 is fixedly installed on the hub 6a of the cable drum 6. The tap pins 8b of the potentiometer 8 are arranged on the slide 9 axially movable in the hub. The slide 9 is connected with a treadle 3 by a tappet 10 provided with a ball-and-socket joint 9b, 10a. The treadle 3 is mounted to the housing 1 to be vertically pivotable by means of two pivots beside the cable drum 6. The blocking means for the cable drum 6, actuatable by remote control, is located between the two pivots. The device of the present invention is especially suited for the control of electrical household sewing machines.
