摘要: Techniques are described for dynamically correcting image distortion during imaging of a patterned sample having repeating spots. Different sets of image distortion correction coefficients may be calculated for different regions of a sample during a first imaging cycle of a multicycle imaging run and subsequently applied in real time to image data generated during subsequent cycles. In one implementation, image distortion correction coefficients may be calculated for an image of a patterned sample having repeated spots by: estimating an affine transform of the image; sharpening the image; and iteratively searching for an optimal set of distortion correction coefficients for the sharpened image, where iteratively searching for the optimal set of distortion correction coefficients for the sharpened image includes calculating a mean chastity for spot locations in the image, and where the estimated affine transform is applied during each iteration of the search.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to optical systems with ergonomic presentation of content for use in head-worn computing systems. A method for controlling a head-worn computer when viewing virtual images, including image content, that encourages an ergonomic head position to reduce neck pain, includes determining an angle of the head-worn computer relative to horizontal, determining an angle of a line of sight to the center of the virtual image as presented to a user's eye, determining a deviation between the determined angle of the line of sight and a predetermined ergonomic angle, and shifting the image content of the virtual image vertically as displayed to the user's eye so that a portion of the image content is not viewable, wherein the amount of shifting is in reverse correspondence to the magnitude of the determined deviation.

摘要: Systems and methods dynamically adjust an available range for editing an attribute in an image. An image editing system computes a metric for an attribute in an input image as a function of a latent space representation of the input image and a filtering vector for editing the input image. The image editing system compares the metric to a threshold. If the metric exceeds the threshold, then the image editing system selects a first range for editing the attribute in the input image. If the metric does not exceed the threshold, a second range is selected. The image editing system causes display of a user interface for editing the input image comprising an interface element for editing the attribute within the selected range.

摘要: Method and apparatus for affine CPMV or ALF refinement are mentioned. According to this method, statistical data associated with the affine CPMV or ALF refinement are collected over a picture area. Updated parameters for the affine CPMV refinement or the ALF refinement are then derived based on the statistical data, where a process to derive the updated parameters includes performing multiplication using a reduced-precision multiplier for the statistical data. The reduced-precision multiplier truncates at least one bit of the mantissa part. In another embodiment, the process to derive the updated parameters includes performing reciprocal for the statistical data using a lookup table with (m−k)-bit input by truncating k bits from the m-bit mantissa part, and contents of the lookup table includes m-bit outputs. m and k are positive integers.

摘要: An imaging system includes a first finite conjugate objective at a frontal end of the system and a second finite conjugate objective at a distal end of the system. The system also includes a beam splitting or merging element positioned between the first finite conjugate objective and the second finite conjugate objective. The system also includes an excitation unit configured to direct an excitation beam into a sample positioned in front of the first finite conjugate objective. The excitation beam is in the form of an excitation plane. The system also includes an image sensor positioned facing the second finite conjugate objective. The image sensor lies in a conjugate plane of an excitation beam illumination plane at the frontal end of the system.

摘要: A method is performed at an electronic device with a controller and a display. The method includes identifying, within a first memory, a first object that satisfies a locked criterion. For example, the first object corresponds to a head-locked object or a body-locked object. The first object is associated with a first plurality of pixel values. The method includes blitting, via the controller, the first plurality of pixel values from the first memory to a second memory. The method includes displaying, on the display, the first object by obtaining the first plurality of pixel values from the second memory. In some implementations, the method includes rendering, via a graphics processing unit (GPU), a second object that does not satisfy the locked criterion, such as a world-locked object. As compared with GPU rendering, blitting is less computationally expensive.

摘要: A few-shot, unsupervised image-to-image translation (“FUNIT”) algorithm is disclosed that accepts as input images of previously-unseen target classes. These target classes are specified at inference time by only a few images, such as a single image or a pair of images, of an object of the target type. A FUNIT network can be trained using a data set containing images of many different object classes, in order to translate images from one class to another class by leveraging few input images of the target class. By learning to extract appearance patterns from the few input images for the translation task, the network learns a generalizable appearance pattern extractor that can be applied to images of unseen classes at translation time for a few-shot image-to-image translation task.

摘要: A system and a method for computing the relative rotation and the relative translation of back-to-back cameras comprise: a fixed mode and an adjustment mode. In the fixed mode, a reversible external camera is installed next to the back-to-back cameras, the external camera is flipped to shoot a calibration pattern from different positions and angles, the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of each camera are computed, and then a reverse calculation is performed on the extrinsic parameters, as such the amount of translation and rotation of the back-to-back cameras are obtained. When the relative angle of the back-to-back cameras changes, the angle is automatically detected and the extrinsic parameters of the camera computed at the fixed mode is modified, and then the reverse calculation is performed on the extrinsic parameters to adjust the amount of translation and rotation of the back-to-back cameras.

摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are described herein. For instance, a detection apparatus may comprise memory and at least one processor. The detection apparatus may be configured to obtain an image comprising at least one feature and a plurality of fiducials. The plurality of fiducials may be arranged in a pattern. The detection apparatus may be configured to determine a plurality of sub-regions of the image. Each sub-region comprises a subset of the fiducials comprised in the image. The detection apparatus may be configured to perform a geometric transform on each sub-region to generate a respective local transform associated with each sub-region. The detection apparatus may be configured to register respective locations of the fiducials comprised in the image based on the respective local transform associated with each sub-region. A size of each sub-region may be selected such that each sub-region is substantially invariant to stage jitter.
