摘要: In one embodiment, a method of manufacturing a high voltage power fuse includes inserting a housing over a first assembly leg of an assembly frame, assembling a first terminal fabrication to the first assembly leg of the assembly frame, assembling a second terminal fabrication to a second assembly leg of the assembly frame, connecting a full-range fuse element assembly in a gap between the first terminal fabrication and the second terminal fabrication, sliding the housing over the connected full-range fuse element assembly, securing the housing in position to enclose the full-range fuse element assembly, and applying a silicated filler material to the assembled housing, full-range fuse element, and first and second terminals to establish a mechanical bond between the silicated filler material and the assembled housing, full-range fuse element, and first and second terminals.

摘要: In a blade-type fuse (10) according to the present invention one of an upper casing (20) and a lower casing (30) includes a fixing post (30K), the other casing includes a through-hole (20K) through which the fixing post (30K) is passed, and also the flat terminal portion (41) includes a through-hole (40K) through which the fixing post (30K) is passed. The flat terminal portion (41) is formed bilaterally symmetrically about a vertical line passing through a center of the blade-type fuse (10), and vertically symmetrically about a horizontal line passing through the center of the blade-type fuse (10).

摘要: A molding method includes: setting a bus bar at a first mold main body portion of a fixed mold by supporting a terminal base of a tuning-fork terminal with a terminal base receiving portion of the fixed mold in a state where the tuning-fork terminal is protruded outside a cavity formed by the first mold main body portion of the fixed mold and a second mold main body portion of a movable mold being joined together; joining the movable mold together with the fixed mold by abutting an abut step portion of the movable mold to a receiving abut step portion of the fixed mold and nipping the terminal base of the tuning-fork terminal with the terminal base receiving portion and a terminal base abut portion of the movable mold; and injecting resin into the cavity in the nipped state.

摘要: The dual element fuse of the present invention has at least one fusible element and at least one mass of heat softenable material; and that fusible element will respond to a short circuit to fuse and thereby assure opening of the circuit, whereas that mass of heat softenable material will respond to a long-continued relatively-low potentially-hurtful overcurrent to soften and thereby initiate opening of the circuit. That dual element fuse has a shunt element which shunts the mass of heat softenable material and which will fuse after that mass of heat softenable material has initiated opening of the circuit. That shunt element has a current rating which is larger than the current rating of the mass of heat softenable material; and that shunt element has a current-interrupting characteristic which has the same shape as that of the current-interrupting characteristic of the fusible element.
