    摘要: An X-ray tube device according to the present invention includes a cathode generating an electron beam, an anode generating an X-ray by collision of the electron beam from the cathode, an envelope internally housing the cathode and the anode, a magnetic field generator including a magnetic pole arranged to be opposed to the envelope, generating a magnetic field for focusing and deflecting the electron beam from the cathode to the anode, and an electric field relaxing electrode arranged between the magnetic pole and the envelope, having an outer surface having a rounded shape. Thus, the magnetic field generator can be placed closer to the envelope while a tip end of the magnetic field generator is suppressed from being a discharge start point, and hence the effect of being capable of downsizing the X-ray tube device is achieved.

    摘要: In an electron irradiation system, a gas-tight housing encloses a cathode region and an irradiation region, which communicate through at least an aperture. In the cathode region, there is arranged a high-voltage cathode for emitting an electron beam. In the irradiation region, there is an irradiation site arranged to accommodate a stationary or moving object to be irradiated. The migration of cathode-degrading debris is limited by means of an electric field designed to prevent positively charged particles from entering the cathode region via the aperture. The invention can be embodied with an axial electric field, which realizes an energy threshold, or a transversal field which deflects charged particles away from trajectories leading into the cathode region.

    摘要: Stationary x-ray target assemblies manufactured using a metal deposition process to form one or more metal layers of the target. In particular, the metal deposition process is used to form an x-ray target metal layer and/or a stress buffer zone on an x-ray target substrate. The stress buffer zone improves material properties of the metals and/or the bonding between the x-ray target metal layer and the substrate. Improved bonding between the x-ray target metal layer and the substrate also improves the heat dissipation properties of the stationary x-ray target assembly.
