    Abstract: A power conversion device for controlling a DC voltage of a DC link may comprise a first diode, a second diode, a first switching element, a second switching element, a third switching element, and a fourth switching element, wherein: a cathode terminal of the first diode is connected to a positive terminal of the DC link; an anode terminal of the first diode is connected to one end of the first switching element and one end of the third switching element; the other end of the first switching element is connected to an alternating current terminal and one end of the second switching element; the other end of the second switching element is connected to one end of the second diode and one end of the fourth switching element; the other end of the second diode is connected to a negative terminal of the DC link.

    Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for power conversion. The power conversion may be done by a plurality of power devices with different configurations. For example, the plurality of power devices may include one or more converters with an upside-up buck configuration and one or more converters with an upside-down buck configuration. The power conversion may be done by one or more power devices that may be configurable between different modes of configuration. For example, one or more power converters may be configured in either an upside-up buck configuration mode or an upside-down buck configuration mode. The selection of a certain mode of configuration of the converter may be permanent or non-permanent.

    Abstract: A DC/AC inverter and microinverter architectures using the DC/AC inverter are disclosed. The DC/AC inverter is based on a differential geometry control scheme to balance and optimize the flying capacitor voltages across the flying capacitors used in the inverter's power circuit. Based on changing inverter and overall system conditions, including capacitor voltages, grid voltages, grid current, and DC bus voltages, desired fields are generated. These fields are used to balance capacitor voltages such that capacitor voltage values converge, over time, to an optimal solution.

In a power conversion device: an output terminal of a common converter cell in a J-numbered stage is connected, together with output terminals of common converter cells of the other two phases, to common lines; an output terminal of an independent converter cell in a K-numbered stage is connected to independent lines independently of converter cells of the other two phases; and a plurality of switches comprise a common switch for switching the connection relationship between the common lines and DC buses, and an independent switch for switching the connection relationship between the independent lines and DC buses.
