摘要: The present technology relates to a data processing device and a data processing method which can ensure high communication quality in data transmission using LDPC codes, in group-wise interleaving, an LDPC code having a code length N of 64800 bits and a coding rate r of 13/15 is interleaved in a unit of a bit group of 360 bit. In group-wise deinterleaving, a sequence of bit groups of the LDPC code which has been subjected to the group-wise interleaving is returned to an original sequence, the present technology can be applied to, for example, a case in which data transmission is performed using LDPC codes.

In group-wise interleaving, an LDPC code having a code length N of 64800 bits and a coding rate r of 13/15 is interleaved in a unit of a bit group of 360 bits. In group-wise deinterleaving, a sequence of bit groups of the LDPC code which has been subjected to the group-wise interleaving is returned to an original sequence. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a case in which data transmission is performed using LDPC codes.-

摘要: Various exemplary embodiments relate to an optical amplifier, including: a multicore rare-earth doped optical fiber with a first plurality of cores associated with a first stage of the optical amplifier and a second plurality of cores associated with a second stage of the optical amplifier; a three dimensional (3D) waveguide configured to couple input space division multiplexed (SDM) channels into the first plurality of cores at a first end of the multicore rare-earth doped optical fiber and to couple channels from the second plurality of cores to output SDM channels; a reflector configured to optically interconnect the first plurality of cores to the second plurality of cores; and pump laser coupled to the multicore rare-earth doped optical fiber configured to produce laser pump light to pump the multicore rare-earth doped optical fiber.
